Join me in my fight against the machines in Generation Zero!
Welcome to 1980’s Sweden. The local population has disappeared, and machines of unknown origin roam the streets. We'll explore this vast open world to unravel the mystery, perfect our fighting strategies, and prepare to strike back.
We’ll be taking on these robots in an action packed adventure in one of the hardest FPS games to drop in 2019.

I've noticed a small insignificant issue about bus stops. It turned out they might be useful to hide in. Glass walls are mostly opaque for machines so you can hide inside and keep ability to watch around.
It is a little funny and crazy how Generation Zero keeps you in a permanent state of feeling like you have arrived one day too late to the battle for the end of the world. Every town and bunker you arrive in is full of recently deceased, cars still burning, smoldering ans sparking machine remains, notes from people who had recently evacuated. It keeps you feeling like everyone else in the game world has not long evacuated or died.
It is also interesting to see how the game used to be. Personally I prefer the changes to the storyline where you meet Theresa in Ibholmin Church. Having a voice in your ear every now and then makes a world of difference and to me is just enough to balance how empty the world is.
I also like how you do similar to what I do and immerse yourself further into games using a mix of game lore and your imagination. I have always liked using my imagination to self insert into games. It helps me enjoy them more.
I love how you pronounce hero in swedish :D

Thanks man! I felt it was the most fitting title for the main character of the game :D None of the other names really meshed i tried out maskinförstörare and den överlevande but eventually settled on hjälte :D

What really stumps me is that a human, let alone a teenager, made up of SKIN, FLESH and BONE, can fight against machines made of METAL, one of which the size of a house and equipped with fifty caliber machine guns and mortars, AND WIN!
Still, gameplay's fun.

To me the question where are all the people is quite interesting. It seemed like the military evacuated them somehow somewhere,, but some people had some suspicions about this and went into hiding instead. Some of those started resistance and got killed for it but the others who went hiding are missing as well. Did they get found by the military or something else ? Was the military trying to evacuate people sincerely or did they have some plan for them. At some point I thought there was some sort of indication that the machines needed a human conciousness to be alive and could this be the fate of the people in the island?
Very good qwestion (i probobly spelled that wrong) how ever the qwestion here is there did they go as you said but the dead bodies of people fighting back why dont we find there died bodies and here this, remember that mission there it said to not go up to the north if you do they said that a big 4 legd robot took his friend now im thinking did the people that fought back got taken by the harvesters? And if so what did they do with the people the capured? So many qwestion and no answers. Have a good day my dude!
@@itsmesid1878 That's exactly it my dude, most people were taken, and the military "evacuating" people is even questionable because if the military set this all up, then who's to say they didn't just abduct the people instead of evacuating them? As you said, we need some answers for this!

Dude!! Totally love your story its so awesome to see how others play out a game using their own imagination I love it and what your doing man. Yeah man that hunter counter works great thumbs up for that and all your tips in the mainland now fixing to take back Minken Bunker going stealth about it so I'm going nice and slow until next time peace..

As for whether the military was involved or not, there are several military convoys on the first island, which then have dead soldiers, empty containers and patrolling robots, which would prompt most to believe that either a) The robots rebelled b) The robots were released afterwards c) The robots arrived afterwards and stayed in the area for some reason

I’m just wondering (I’ve finished the game) what the hell ks the end of the game?
Well its all up to peoples opinion but i think the russians tried to kill you in the blast and from the evidence ive been finding so far it seems like the blame is strongly swinging towards them being the main antagonist. but ill have an episode on that up eventually :)

@@TenebrisInfinite I understand I'm a freak and I like it XD the option to zoom is meh, but the immersive role play makes it fun for us. My wife and bestfriend play Co-OP together almost makes the game to easy with 3 people.
Oh definitely! It's very immersive because it's not like you would just find some pristine scope until you run into a military place like a bunker or something :D I'm just a perfectionist for wreckin robo's lol! Thats awesome, i can agree that being in a team makes the game way easier but when you get to set up a plan and then pull it off, it's a good feel ;D
