Join me in my fight against the machines in Generation Zero!
Welcome to 1980’s Sweden. The local population has disappeared, and machines of unknown origin roam the streets. We'll explore this vast open world to unravel the mystery, perfect our fighting strategies, and prepare to strike back.
We’ll be taking on these robots in an action packed adventure in one of the hardest FPS games to drop in 2019.

I'm very angry. After this Update, my Base at Tyloveden disappeard from the Map and all my collected Ammo for the Resistance-MG (~160K) and my two Snipertowers (=8000 Rounds) are gone😡. Nothing about that this Base will not be stand after the Update. Greetings from Germany.
MINE TOO Stefan! I lost 140, 000 7.62 4ounds, 6,000 50 cal, 600 med kits, and 400 HDPE rounds.
Same for me tho luckily i didnt have any ammo there but lost a quite bit of concrete
Yeah had a few storage bases disappear. And all I got from customer service is "we will have it fixed in the next update" but yet I'm still out all the resources and ammo. Game is going down hill fast
A new faction? This world just keeps getting bigger
Been playing since launch, so glad to see this game just keeps growing! One thing I would love to see is the option to lower your weapon while walking around. I like using bigger weapons and some take up alot of screen lol.
I would love if the characters in first person shooters had human eyes/arms. Carrying a gun means it is held at your waist and when aiming it is raised at your eye level, this means either the player character has eyes in his navel or the arms come out of his head. There is no other explanation for why the guns cover any part of your view when not aiming.
And the less said about the inability to see your feet and where you are actually stepping the better...
Hope they add like security tape collectables that you can watch.

Whether or not the machines are sentient is a really interesting one. Are the machines still in control of FNIX and the Soviets or is the whole situation out of control and are the operating on their own terms?
The machines were supposed to be remote controlled by radio, but then Von Ulmer developed a way to upload animal minds into them as the FNIX OS, which is likely why they keep growling and making other sounds. Then Von Ulmer uploaded himself, and later likely other people, creating the new FNIX that wants to take over the world or whatever his real plan is, and that AI apparently sometimes assumes direct control.
In universe this would explain why you can sometimes bike past a bunch of machines and they don't even notice you, or have a firefight with one group of machines and another group keeps patrolling their own area despite being within sight and definitely withing hearing range, but other times a machine sees you from far away and keeps following you no matter how far you keep running and hiding.

In my opinion I believe the Soviet are decent and are the good guy apart form the the bad apples in the group
More like some of the soldiers have been lied to about their commander's real plans. This faction seems to be the equivalent of the group who IRL decided that Gorbachev's politics were turning Soviet Union away from True Communism and tried a coup, which led to the fall of Soviet Union. In the universe of the game Berlin wall has just fallen and end of European Communist nations would be just couple years away, but this group is planning to use the machine weapons to set things "right" again. Given their plan hinges on getting their hands on an AI that can take over communications and machines that will kill people without questioning orders this does not suggest they are even trying to be peaceful...

They are mentioned in the radio mast communication mission in the mountains region i believe, The mission that gives you the location of the device that you use to destroy FNIX.
Hey serious question how did you get the exo suit looking thing that you have on your character?
It's the FNIX outfit. I don't know if it requires the FNIX Rising DLC, but it's unlocked by killing a bunch of FNIX machines. Hope that helps!
