You're work is amazing, Just found your channel today. As a car enthusiast and fuji shooter I am biased but it's already probably my favorite channel on youtube. The shot at 2:46 mad me say "DAMN" out loud.
"the photo starts and ends with that shutter button" - For a person like me who is constantly trying to simplify his entire photography process and get as close as possible to the essence an beauty of this craft, this might be the most inspiring quote that i've ever heard. Thanks!
How can some of your content be this short yet be so engaging!? it's basically quality over quantity when it comes to your length of your videos! I'm 100% subscribed!
this is the reason why I switched to Fuji from Sony fullframe! saving me tons of hard drive space for photos but costing me more for video files 🤣 i said goodbye to Lightroom as well - been posting photos SOOC since Fuji
I know this house!! Its very cool and different compared to a lot of others in the neighbourhood. I think it fits well with the car! Time capsuled for sure.
Fuji can deliver the closest experience to film photography. Their hardware and software settings are amazing. Pair a body with an old manual lens and you can almost have the full film experience.
That's why I switched from nikon to fuji. The colors rendered are so beautiful directly from the camera! I still have trouble getting what I want, depending on the light too... the renderings are sometimes far from what I imagine, but it will come with practice :D
I decided on the XT3 after using Sony for 6 years. The Sony has been phenomenal, but I shoot a lot on old 35mm Olympus cameras and miss the feel when jumping back on the Sony. Not only does the body give a film vibe, the results do too! Pulled the trigger and have one on the way with the 16-80mm f4!
Oh man. This video is teasing me with the Fuji camera shortage XD. I love the note about the Fuji community. It's probably one of the healthier/friendly photography communities out there.
I’ve been shooting canon for years and lately I’ve been considering switching to Sony to get a more compact body, although now because of your video I’m tempted to switch to Fuji.
Damn, great video! I am on step 1 - I like the look of Fujifilm's bodies, I know about the simulations. But now... with this video... I guess I will go with the X-S10. :)
Noticed you were using a filter on 1:38. Is that the cinebloom 10%? it looks like you have two filters on there? Great pics. Definitely trying the recipe.
Your shots look great! I used the Portra 400V2 recipe on a few occasions and my results seem to vary from yours in terms of contrast and colours. Did you do any post processing on them in Lightroom? Thanks!
Thanks Jeremie. On the rare occasion I may have slightly adjusted white balance or exposure but I’d say over 90% are just straight out of camera. I did leave white balance on auto instead of a specific value for that recipe. I also make sure I’m always shooting at least 640 ISO to ensure I’m at 400%DR. Hopefully that helps
Just discovered your great video. A man after my own heart re JPEG.I'm coming to hide at your place when the RAW shooting Fujista possee comes after me for not shooting 100% manual RAW. I refer them to the world renown Fuji shooter Martin Parr. A retired Cdn X-T3 & X-E4 shooter. dn
I just got intro Fuji recipes but cant find something good for night saturated like vaporware, any one got something? Thank you. BTW I wouldnt believe this photos where on camera if you told me. I would think they had a ton of post processing. Amazing photos man with the composition and lighting.
@@phil1353 it depends on which camera you have. You can look up the base iso (some cameras have two) and I generally stay at those. If it’s REALLY dark then it may be good to bring a light.

Any longer and I’m unwatchable 😆
Dude yes!! Great format here and I agree completely. You put it better and made it more exciting than I ever could’ve to be honest. This is the way!🤘
Glad you enjoyed the video!
The pause in your video really helped me to subscribe 😊
What an underrated youtuber! Love your videos and I really appreciate the relax bite sized videos you release.
Glad you're enjoying them, thank you!
A perfect explanation with awesome examples packaged in a video length leaving us wanting more. 👌
FujiFilm dojo. Love it. LOVED this video!
well said, I'm looking forward to making a purchase soon

Just switched yesterday too, from Sony.

such a nice video, thanks!
Amazing video production and photos!

Now that’s something I’ve gotta try
Great content and info :). Love Fuji (have XE2 and XT2)!
I love this content!!! great work bro!

You're right. I think because Fuji is really the only manufacturer that prioritizes utility as well as fun.
get an xs10!
Really nice…loving the colors 👍🏼

I’d say try both. Fuji cameras are more fun to use but the Sony’s have many more usability benefits. Depends what you’re using it for
I'm here for the photos but also for the beautiful air-cooled Porsches haha
Plenty more of those to come!
lovely shots! highly recommend trying out the gold 200 recipe!!
Thanks and will do!
Excellent
Could you show more about these recipes? I love this video ❤️

Can these film recipes also work on xe4?
Noticed you were using a filter on 1:38. Is that the cinebloom 10%? it looks like you have two filters on there? Great pics. Definitely trying the recipe.
It was just a circular polarizer actually. No mist type filter at all.
Great video and photos! Are you using the cinebloom filter by any chance?
Thank you! No filter for the photos, and a BPM 1/4 for the video
LOL love the dojo metaphor
I really liked the video. Subbed
Was the video filmed of the car on Fuji?
No, video was on a Sony FX3
Wow great shots! Did you use any filters on the lens?
Thanks. Just a circular polarizer

Did you still apply the red and blue shift to the auto setting ? :)
I did.
Kodak portra 400 v2 or just portra 400 v2 ??
I can't stop starring at the lint on your head haha
Hahahah I’m surprised it took someone this long to comment on that.
Please make a tutorial on how you made these SOOC photos!
They’re straight out of camera so no tutorial needed. The recipe is noted in the description.
Your videos are so good dude! Big fan. Also big fan of fuji even though I use sony for work lol
Thanks man I appreciate that!
What groups or pages do you recommend?
This is amazing! I always wanted to get a fuji mirrorless just for photos! Also what is the filter you used on your camera? I love to know!
Thanks man. It was a Freewell polarizer filter (from the magnetic kit). There's a video on that kit on the channel as well.
@@TheGlassEyeTV also I love your filmmaking content paired with automobiles! The two things mix so well 😭😍
Amazing video! Can you share your recipe you used in this video?? I need to know haha
Thanks. It's the Portra 400 V2 from Fuji X Weekly

hey man! great vid! what recipe did You use? is it Your own, or made by someone? cheers!
I used Portra 400 V2 from Fuji X Weekly
Thanks mate - Simulation is nothing without a great light and photographer, great shots! just found You on insta :)
Thank you, Zane Lowe.
Great video, but u never mentioned the recipe u were using.. 🤔🤭😅🙃
It’s in the description 🙂 Portra 400 V2 from FujiXWeekly.
Can you use recipes for video?
You can but I tend to film in FLOG or FLOG2 and grade the footage manually.
@@TheGlassEyeTV I struggle with iso and shoot a lot of video at night. What iso would you recommend at flog?

@@TheGlassEyeTV any thoughts on filming in Eterna ?
Fuji isn't a cult, Sony is.
Every camera brand has a cult honestly. Some are just bigger or louder than others.
All this recipe talk is making me think Fuji a bit more.
As you can tell, they've really grown on me
