Three Fujifilm simulations you absolutely need to try especially if you are a fan of actual 35mm film stocks, these recipes I have found to be the best and most accurate to the real thing. These recipes work from the older fuji cameras like the xt1/xpro1 all the way up to the brand new Fuji x100v. 2 Color recipes as well as a black and white street photography recipe. Enjoy!

What’s good gang! Hope you guys enjoyed this video!! Drop a like down below if you did and also subscribe for more Fujfilm Recipe videos ❤️ which one is your favorite?
I love how these recipes are really not heavy handed. Great use of WB instead of crazy shifts and giving the sims room to do their thing. Reminds me some of the approaches JayRegular posted a video on. Great video!
Been using these presets the last days and love the Chrome and Porta so much. Still getting used to B&W
I’m so glad you liked that Porta recipe! I definitely modify my white balance based on the scene with that recipe as well. Great vid 🙌🏼
Hey! What video is he refering to? Cant seem to find it among your videos! 😊
@@MRoERVICE yeah I can't seem to find it either.
@MRoERVICE I believe it’s the video where she reviews the fujifilm x-e1. She talks about the film sim she used for it
Dope! Just threw them on my xpro 3. Ready to try these out!
Guess I'll get a Fuji 🤷🏼♀️ but seriously you helped me choose between Sony and Fuji ❤
What ISO do you rock on the Pushed HP5 simulation, auto 400-1600 or play by ear?
Also thought I'd leave my favorite B&W film simulation for X-Trans 1 sensors here in case someone would like it as much as me:
Film sim: Monochrome
ISO: Auto 200-3200 (or just play by ear)
DR: 200
WB: Incandescent; R: -5 and B: 9
Sharpness: +1
Highlight: +2
Shadowtone: +2
NR: -2
thank you !! 😎
If you didn't list Reggie's Portra, we're not friends anymore.
😂😂
Still one of the most talked about recipes across the Fuji recipe groups on FB 🎉🎉🎉
@@Mike3313 definitely two solid recipes!
You guys so much talented! Is there any chance to see from you 'Leica lens look' one day? Similar to Cobalt Elite for LR recipe, but for in camera setup That greenish-yellow tint, pumped blues and reds, somehow razor-sharp contrast... That is my dream recipe
Reggie's Portra will always be my Q1
Do you use the EVF or the Optical Viewfinder when shooting the X-Pro2? I tend to shift between the two depending on what I'm shooting, but I'm curious about what other photographers use.
Nice information, but if you shoot raw then what do you do? Or do you with the X-pro 2
Does it matter how to light/weather looks outside? because it's winter now and it's very grey/blue overcast
Hello, I want to ask, is it these recipes also work for Fujifilm XF1?
Thanks for sharing the recipes. However, older cameras like x-pro2 cannot save white balance adjustments in custom setting. How do you solve this?
Thanks for the video. Try (Serr's 500T) recipe with Cinebloom/Blackmist filter for night street photography. I really like this recipe for night photography.
Are all the sample photos here are SOOCs or did you do any post editing?
FYI in case no one else has mentioned 'On June 22, 2009, Kodak announced it would no longer manufacture Kodachrome film' (I used this film studying photography at Uni, oh those were the days).
I get the concept of several film sims, but how do you program the cam ( x-pro3 ) to shoot the three recipes simultaneously? I see a setting to shoot all seven but I want to limit it to maybe 2 or 3. So how?
Do i have to use the built in film simulation too? When inputting the recipe, i selected the one given. But apparently i can also add another film simulation via the selector wheel. This does obiously shift the color - do you guys just leave it on standard and then use C1/C2/... oder do you always input the film simulation which you used on the custom profile
What is the WB for that Kodachrome recipe you provided?
Hi, thank for the video, i'm strugguling finding the shadow setting on my XT4, can you help me ?
Kodachrome was also known for its archival quality
Im looking for a Leica M11 Monochrom recipe, to get close of it ( I assume we cant name it Leica Recipe but Street Photo recipe)
What's the exact + - of your WB in kodachrome? Is it good in XA3?
Hey. Great video! You forgott to mention what WB you had on Kodachrome?
He said auto chief
Just making sure that NR means high ISO NR?
Thx a lot
Possibly a stupid question. Does the HP5 recipe affect the RAW files?
Can I used the first one on xt-5
is this possible for the x100F also ?
Maybe a stupid question but can I use this on other cameras as well?
I wished you showed more variety of photos for the first recipe. We could not see the versatility of that recipe.
❤
Thanks for the video. How can i get portra hybrid look in X-T5?
It’s in the video. Just input the settings he describes. The Xt5 has additional abilities (ie color chrome blue)-just turn those off.
@@jcbarker1 Thanks a lot. Have a nice day~
Thanks for the great video! But one question: Why does my x-t30ii need a second or 2 after shooting with that recipes for storing? (The word „storing“ appears on the screen) any ideas? thanks!
I'm not an expert but I've seen people mention that this sometimes happens for a few reasons. Some of them being slow SD card and saving Raw + Jpeg files together.
Link was not in the bio for the 400 recipe
What about clarity, grain effect, color chrome effect and color chrome fx blue in those recipes?
They don't exist in older fuji cameras. So just leave them switched off or at 0.
how do i do this on xpro1
Name of song at the beginning?
Bro I heard Reggie boutta box you 👀
First I need a Fujifilm camera! Ha
higher kelvin value means less warm
Kodachrome on what WB ? Auto-WB? seem to have missed that ...
Auto WB (according to his previous video dedicated to his Kodachrome recipe). No color shift either it seems.
We call these LUTS which are baked into the image
What about clarity on these?
more of the presenter rather than sample photos, what is this video about. You or camera?
Not trying to be a hater, nor an elitist, but none of these "feel" like film to me. I'd say CCD sensors look more like slide film than those examples. But I'm not sure if this video is about truly emulating film or if its just a matter of color production, cheers.
Why the hell would you give a recipe and not give the full recipe?? Thats like giving half a recipe for a cake, whats the point
I don't know, the idea of using simulations just doesn't sit well with me. I'll stick to just editing raw images file by file.
Good for you lol 😆
@@DRDRE-cm7qo hahaha yeah, Fujifilm ecosystem saved me lots of time editing pics and simulating stuff on Lightroom/Photoshop since the recipes are so awesome and time saving. Most of my shots are SOOC now after switching from Nikon to Fujifilm. I mostly edit now for minor lighting corrections.
@@karlivanryeah that’s most the reason I switched to fujifilm. Love the film simulations and the fact that i don’t have to sit for hours editing my pictures. Plus i shoot both jpeg and raw so i can edit at my hearts content.
الاهتمام بوصفات محاكات الافلام تسلب منكم الابذاع والابتكار وتشتت الانتباه عن الغرض الاساسي من التصوير الفوتوغرافي . توقفوا عن ها الهراء
Don't know why anybody would want a "film look". Films were terrible reproducing colors, dynamic range, resolution. I never use any simulation/profiles on any of my cameras, always shoot in raw and adjust to taste in Lightroom, can't think of any reason to mess with jpegs.
Unnecessary annoying music
