Fascinating watching this Ross. I was a 24 year old (30 years ago) visting Guernsey for the first time, on business, to Grandes Rocques. The Island had a unique atmosphere about it, quite calming. Haven't been in 20+ years, still looks the same on camera!
Wow thank you Ross. What a lovely visit to the Island of my birth. We passed the end of the lane where the house is where I was born (86 yrs ago) - near Pembroke. From Rousse onwards those are my happy places. Nice way to spend 40 minutes at the end of another year. Couldn't all those potholes in car parks be fixed during these months when there are less visitors - they are a bit of a disgrace.
Sorry if I’m being a bit thick here but what is a “camara”? Is that the vehicle you use? I’m going by the “onboard” part. Excellent shots and another great video 👌
Hi Ross - really enjoyed that one. Although I'm not a beach-type person, I really like how the beaches remain "natural" rather than commercialised like so many here in the UK and elsewhere. So - many thanks, and here's wishing you and yours a Happy New Year.
very nice Ross, Pembroke still my fav beach too, Thanks for the drive along when you keep to the coast road you can really see the island is not that big at all you are not far from anywhere really.
I’m on the video, between Fort Grey and l’Eree bay, at 3’19, waiting to cross the road as there’s no pavement there… I didn’t recognize your car. I wanted to swim but too much wind and low tide. I saw some kiosks are open (I thought they were all closed) : Cobo, Vazon, Pleinmont… Now, I try to leave Guernesey to come back to France, difficult because of the storm. I have to take an alternative route passing by Portsmouth !
An u help my wife and daughter find a nice home to lease? We are moving there from Belize. We are Canadian / English Citizens. Girls will be there by 5th May

Always good to see Guernsey in real time! 😊 Many of the car parks have huge potholes at the moment I noticed. 😮 All the best for 2024 🎉
Thanks 🙏
Enjoyed the longer version
That’s good to know. Thanks 🙏
Love it. Cobo use to my home in 3years time. Saline road, one of the bungalows belongings to Mrs Nussbaumer🤩
Went to a wedding ceremony held on the rocks at Port soif last november, froze my nuts off Ross, it was nice at the Reunion afterwards though.

Wow that’s amazing you are on the video. I’m not in my van anymore so no one recognizes me. Hope you get back safely 👍
Me thinking “Camara” was a big town on the west coast of Guernsey 😂
