Chris Latras yeah the universal should fit perfect. I mocked up a cardboard cut out of the exact size and it look good. Still waiting on my original model to come in from Spain. The new arrow head isnt my preference
I am taller and ride at highway speeds 80% of the time so the lower bars give a better body angle so I am not such a sail in the wind. The lean into the wind make things much better. Not as aggressive as a super sport so still plenty comfortable too

I dont believe that the 2007 z1000 has the same handle bar clamp size. I think the clamp size is 7/8 in which case this bar wouldnt work for you :(
