As we approach deer season, I wanted to share one of my most popular deer hunting videos. This was a crossbow hunt from 2022 where it took until the final hour of the final day to tag my Vermont buck. I even captured the final moments on trail camera.

Not a very good shot

Not really, but luckily the deer ducked into the shot. It was just over 50 yards, I had estimated it at 40. I lost my rangefinder in Maine a couple weekends prior. Sometimes luck has its place in hunting.

Yes it was low, but most deer duck. It’s a gamble but I tend to hold pretty low myself. I don’t think I’d call that a bad shot at all. Although I did see your arrow kick back and forth during flight. U may need to tune your rest a bit. But I’m not a crossbow guy so……. Anyways nice job. Thanks.
