Hi MO , 14:54 ? Lol 20:06 , 24:52 love turkey’s A lot of pigs ! Will have to watch again but great video! Thanks 😊 ☮️ 22:54 poor thing I hope it’s not serious 🥹
At first it thought it was a mirror shot but it was not what a coincidence, they were both doing the same amazing thing. great footage and please have a wonderful week ahead
That’s a lot of pigs and the raccoon staring straight at the camera like it was posing lol, I think all the animals know the camera is there, great video thank you
Yes they’re now a strange mix of formerly domestic pigs that came here from europe centuries ago and recently escaped domestic pigs here in the US. Thanks!
Yip, that spot never fails to capture a whole range of animal and birds. I know I shouldn't say this because of the incredible destruction of habitat, but I do enjoy watching the wild pigs, especially the young ones. And everything looks in good condition 👌. I just hope that poor coyote is able to catch it's food with a sore front leg 😞.
Wow. I didn't realize until just recently watching YT trail cam videos that feral pigs were such a problem across many states. Too bad they can't be eradicated.
So you touched on one of the controversial things about feral hogs. People love to hunt and eat them so there’s actually a “demand”, people want them. Some populations were illegally deliberately transplanted for the purpose of hunting. So yes eradication in many ways would be best….. but all the great hunting! Perhaps we might even feed some hungry people or make school lunches out of some free pigs?
Just wondering if the wild hogs have a different taste than a domestic hog. Growing up you would get a piece of pork that you could tell was slop fed. I know there are hunters out there that would know. I’m just curious.
I shoot all my pork in Florida on my yearly hog hunt. We fill the chest freezer in a week of hunting. They are WAY better tasting compared to a domestic pig.Their meat is considerably tougher, but darker and more flavorful.
That's sort of why barbeque caught on so quickly in the South. Before automobiles fences were built around crops to keep animals out, not to keep animals in. Most farmers had cattle that roamed free in the woods. Thus the term, " root hog , or die" Every farmer would have a particular notch cut into a pigs ear for identification or ownership purposes. So, most hogs were "wild" at least as far as their diet went. Slow smoking their meat over hickory and saucing it well as it cooks made the meat more tender and enhanced the wild flavor.
They are bad for pretty much everything. They’ll eat the eggs of ground nesting birds like turkeys. They definitely compete with deer for food (acorns and such). They’re also bad for water quality.
Does the camera make noise because some of the animals act like they can hear it and some animals act like they can see it at night is that really a bright light or just night vision
All the usual suspects, plus the cows, lol. Do you know whether the cows are supposed to be there? Where I live, LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water and Power) owns land that they lease parsels of to farmers for specified times for grazing. Some of these fenced but sort of wild areas have gates that pedestrians and long-distance runners (c'est moi) are on the honor system to close behind themselves. I feel sorry for the lame coyote. Injured predators can have a hard time catching enough to eat. I'm not sure how packs work. I suspect if you can't pull your weight, you're out. It seems to me that's the way it would have to be. I thought you included about the right amount of pigs. Enough to make us sigh, but not yawn. 🙂 The best moment was the flying squirrel. One of the longest flights I've seen. And, of course, the big stag. All the other bucks we saw would have no chance against him. I assume they would recognize that and pick their fights among themselves. After all, not all the doe can dance with him. Thanks for ending my evening on a high note.
Thanks for the nice comment. Those cows are not supposed to be there but I’m sure they found their way home. The fence must be down somewhere. Coyotes have what’s called a fission-fusion adaptation. They can work alone or as a pack. I’m sure that injury isn’t helping either situation though. Cheers!
@@Michael.Outside Thanks for the reply. "Fission-fusion" is a good term, as long as it's not radioactive. Unfortunately, the coyote can't take himself to the vet, and he doesn't have the option of staying off the leg until it heals. It's a tough life. Wildlife can't afford to get injuries. The area we can see on camera doesn't look appropriate for cattle, but we can't tell how close a more pasture-like setting might be. A major problem with a fence down or a gate left open is cattle getting hit by traffic. Not good for the cow or the passengers. In your video, though, they were great for comedy. Sometimes I check your species list before I watch the video, and sometimes I don't. Usually I'm too eager to watch the video. I was glad I didn't know there were going to be cows. That was a good laugh. Then I checked your list, except there wasn't one--which I think was the right choice for this video. Having "cow [or cattle] (Bos taurus)" in the list would have been a spoiler.
The surprises are key. Most of the Alabama I’ve explored has pastures near all the forests, hence the cattle. Hopefully they stay on their side in the future.
very nice channel...... we subscribed...Once we monetize our channel @crittercamera, we will be donating to various animal rescues every month. I'd love to see more you tube animal video creators, make donations to their favorite animal rescues as well. We can make a big difference.
I had a fundraiser on one of my videos for the Arizona wildlife federation. It raised a couple hundred dollars. I am going to do some more like that, focused on the areas where the videos were taken.

Absolutely wonderful video this was my first video to watch of yours
Thanks!
I was raised on a farm but live in the city now....watching your video brought me back to the farm....Thanks
My pleasure
The cows, limping coyote, and turkeys surprised me the most ... and what a beautiful 6 point. And the LARGE rack 4 point ... amazing.
These animals are so beautiful. I love watching your videos.
Thank you for watching!
Great trail cam shots, the daylight stuff is super clear. Love watching this stuff when I’m stuck inside!
Thanks!
Thanks Michael
You bet.
I have never seen wild boars before. what a thrill to see them here.
🐗
No it’s not a thrill. They’re destructive. They destroy crops and landscapes and are highly aggressive
They look like regular pigs They don't even have the tusks.
wow great trail cam video ..cheers
Cheers Pete
My LIKE for you!
👍👍
Thanks for another great video!
My pleasure.
Alabama here, love watching nature vids, thanks for posting.
What county?

Yes, who's cows!!??
Neighbor whose land borders this area lol
That’s a lot of pigs and the raccoon staring straight at the camera like it was posing lol, I think all the animals know the camera is there, great video thank you
You’re welcome.
In the first 10 seconds of the video the deer were in sync! Almost a ballet.
Very cool mike
👍👍
Beautiful pics! Bit of a hog problem there. 😊
Hog problem isn’t going to change I’m afraid. No matter how much hunting or trapping occurs. Nonetheless, I’d like to try cooking some.
Ótimos registros, a camera elite hp4 tem uma ótima qualidade.
Obrigado. Sim é uma câmera muito boa. O meu favorito é o HP5.
It's amazing what a camera can do❤
Amen 📸
Lol,that armadillo!
😊
Excellent Stuff!
Thank you 👍
20:11 the cows finally found a hole in the fence 😂
Lol 🐮
beautiful captures do you use a lot of batteries or is your trail cam solar ?
I use Energizer Ultimate Lithium.
Speaking as an Alabama boy u can always tell when season ends bc bucks come out in daylight. 😂
lol truth
Lol. Same way here in Arkansas
Your wild boars are quite different from European. Anyway, good job!
Yes they’re now a strange mix of formerly domestic pigs that came here from europe centuries ago and recently escaped domestic pigs here in the US. Thanks!
wow, you really are getting over run with those wild boars.
They’re here to stay in these parts.

I just hope that poor coyote is able to catch it's food with a sore front leg 😞.
I like watching wild hogs too. They’re here whether we like it or not, may as well observe them. I hope the coyote heals too!

@wdaniel9 you’ll never get lunches for schools because they can’t really be inspected by the USDA.
In these perilous times, Ferrell hogs will be coming an important food source for many people!
@@jackieeastom8758 Probably along with grasshoppers and grubs.
1:30 it's really creepy when the deer stares at the camera
2:07

Oh there are the cows !
Do use any cellular cameras? What kind do you like? Most of my cameras are Browning and I use them because I like their video quality.
I don’t have any cell cameras. I might get one for my little piece of land in Colorado since I’m never there. Browning just came out with a new one.
What part of Alabama are you in? I’m in north Madison county!❤️
I’m down by the Alabama Florida line
Hey, Michael
Have you read or heard any discussion of the affect feral hog populations are having on the populations off other species?? Deer? Turkey?
They are bad for pretty much everything. They’ll eat the eggs of ground nesting birds like turkeys. They definitely compete with deer for food (acorns and such). They’re also bad for water quality.
@Michael.Outside Here in central Okla., I saw my first feral hog cross the road in front of me abt 4 miles ftom my place. Last Thurs.
@johnkellmer5133 There are many more most likely.
Like your videos, thank you. Just curious about distribution of wild pigs In Alabama. Are you in the north, central or southern part? Thanks
Thank you for watching. I’m in southern Alabama.
This video is making me hungry.
thankss. what camera ? sjcam 50?
This was a Browning Recon Force Elite HP4. I prefer the HP5.
THANKSSS@@Michael.Outside
Spring, can you make some More trail cameras Wildlife in 2024?
Yes I will.
Great location. COWS? Hope the injury to the coyote isn't serious.
Lol. Cows must have wandered off the private land in the area. Hoping the yote heals quickly.
F that coyote, fawn killer
When you posting the next one?
When I find time and decide to go out in this insane heat lol. Hopefully next week.
Is there something specific the pigs are eating like maybe acorns because what ever it is they sure do look nice and fat.
They definitely eat acorns. And tons of other stuff.
feralhogs.extension.org/food-habits-of-feral-hogs/
Omg there are a lot of pigs. Would they attack another animal or human?
Rarely
Does the camera make noise because some of the animals act like they can hear it and some animals act like they can see it at night is that really a bright light or just night vision
It’s infrared. The only thing visible is a very faint red light. They make some noise. It is pretty quiet but wild animals notice everything.
Plan on maken bacon with them hogs?
If I see any, yes.

Top it with turkeys!
Them Boars Scare me...
That nice 6-pt at 23:15 can come home with me, thank you.
Lol
I used to live watching these videos, but now, all I can see is the creatures blending in the background, not ones that seem to suppose to be there
Reverse engineer your deer cam ..it shows the world ???
RT
I hate damn hogs
Way to much hog time on the video, if I wanted to see hogs I can watch my own videos from my property here in Texas!!!
Cool. Give it a thumbs down and tell all your friends not to watch it.
@@Michael.Outside😆🤣😁👏👏
This is a dead spot , I wouldn’t hunt there seeing what I’m seeing , time to change locations
I don’t have a camera here to hunt, hero.
