Awesome video! You're so right about how the simplest things can make a great film.. I've grown up here for 30yrs and you captured so much beauty that I often overlook as it's not "new" to me anymore!!
As always you are amazing at capturing every special moment. Thank you for making my husband Uncle Bud fulfill his dreams and be able to relive the memories through your videos!
Hunted in multiple different parts of the country and have harvested some incredible whitetail and mule deer and black tail over the years and I have to say the hardest year I've ever hunted in my entire life and enjoy the hell out of to hunt is a Colombian blacktail in the southwest region of Washington state when you could find them it's like a rush like no other. hands down the hardest animal to hunt in the us cuz you're either going to enjoy a 7-yard or 700 yard shot.
As beautiful as the scenery was the true beauty you captured was the moments with your uncle Bud. Your demeanour, your humbleness and your respect is admirable. Thank you for sharing such treasured moments. Love your work
You know some part of me has always loved hunting, but I think thats because I love animals. I've always wanted to hunt with dogs, work with them and get to experience that relationship of man and man's best friend. I didn't grow up in a hunting family but someday I'd love to go hunting.
My largest blacktail was with my first time hunting with friends, rather than just family. My buddy had his bow (short version, he has 2 counts against him) and shot at this buck while I going to get some coffee. I came back, after hearing what he told me (this area was my playground and his dad and him came to hunt with us) I decided to go into the brush where he had disappeared. We all (4) walked that area at least 3 times. I decided I was going one last time, maybe birddog this guy out for one of us to shoot. I got in to the deepest part, walking rabbit trails and making all kinds of noise. This buck didn't jump up until I was just about to step on him basically. 10 feet, but i was above him. When he jumped out of this bowl I thought it was quail at first. I shot 3 times putting 2 in him, and believe it or not, 1/2" apart. Due to the angle one went in the heart, then the other lunged him as he came up to my level. They are the most stubborn deer, that will sit without movement for hours if need be. They like thick, nasty cover, dark forests. Where I was anyway. Regional differences
@whitebone you’ve got a spammer in your comments who solicited my minor child into getting her address offering her a free compound bow. They’ve commented on several comments and her only being 14 she didn’t know it was a scam.
