Nice work! Thanks for the video! It helped me a lot! My car is alot like this. 2002 VW Jetta TDI diesel stick shift. We replaced the injector seal kit due to diesel fuel leaking around that pump. Bought seal kit online $20. Followed your video perfectly & it’s not leaking anymore! Car starts & runs, however when I drive it, it puts a little & sounds likes it’s missing like maybe it’s not getting enough fuel or air or too much. Somethings off.. My gas mileage wasn’t bad before & I had no idea it was leaking. Car gave me no warning signs. We noticed it leaking when we checked the oil.
Question: Since the injector pump seal kit has been fixed, what could be wrong? It didn’t putt/miss before repair. What’s some other steps we can take? Thank u so much!!

after changing timing belt kit i got P0252 AND P1248 error codes any suggestions how to fix them
How hard is it to install a new injection pump you think ?
It’s the same as a timing belt job pretty much but I believe you need VCDS to time the pump to inject to each cylinder at the right time. And you’d need to bleed the pump and injectors after as well. Decent amount of work and some special tools required to hold the engine in time.

I bought my gaskets online Amazon $20
I recommend leaving the music out of the videos.
It adds nothing of value and most viewers don't like the same music.
I would also title the video upper pump gasket replacement. There are a ton of other seals and gaskets in the kit that are more likely to be leaking. The title is misleading, it implies you are resealing the whole pump.
Lol shouldnt be fuel in the top of the pump.
