Suyu -- Is it really the next big thing in Switch emulation?

Man, everywhere you look right now you hear about Suyu this and Suyu that. They seem to be touting themselves as the ones who will carry the torch once held by Yuzu. Right now it looks like they don't really have much to show for it. Maybe one day they will be THE Switch emulator to use...who knows? But I'm certainly not holding my breath.
