All I can say is Thank You !!! In five years, this has to be one of my very favorite videos. I love Harry and his stories so very much. The editing on this was absolutely beautiful! Nicki, weaving those scenery images throughout Harry's story, was absolute genius! It just kept the story flowing beautifully. Too many other things I loved in this video to name them. Just superb!

Wow, I can't believe that people actually complain about you leaving your home and traveling. It is great to take road trips to see things and especially to visit family. I absolutely love your adventures! Hello to Nicki's father!! And I absolutely think it is ok to spend time apart, especially if you are experiencing new lands, and for you Carlo, it gives you the opportunity to "see" things that you may not see with a friend, wife, along side.
If H.H. Young was there in 1882, isn't it unlikely that he would have been a soldier in the Great War?
Hi Carlo here, actually it seems strange, the writing of the name and the year seem to have the same "handwriting", therefore assuming that it was written by a very (young) "HH" let's say thirteen years old, in 1882 and therefore born in 1869 and then died in the middle from the first world war in 1916 he would have been 47 years old, so it's not impossible, however we were told by the guide that it was the same person, but we honestly don't know if it's real or not!💕👋

I agree hundredpercent. I’m thinking these weird people are American. Nicky is a fantastic ambassador for the British tourist board. What we like in the weather we make up for countryside and history, and of course, great food.
Everything about this episode amazing- from Harry’s diary to the fun at the water park. Seeing you and Carlo laugh as though you were children made me laugh out loud also- we need more if this in our “ grown up” lives.

Same. For me I think whether committed or not we all need breathing room. It takes trust, communication and respect for each other as an individual but within the agreed bounds of a relationship (that’s diff for all of us.) Close friendships need this too. Cheers!

I think my eyes are watering because you have to say goodbye to your Dad. He's a wonderful man and you're so blessed to have him as your Father. Another great video, England is such a beautiful place, like out of a storybook - at least in the countryside. The two of you in the water park was so funny, you had so much fun!!! And Carlo, yes - I think we all need to have some alone time away from people, places and things - maybe it's a way to center ourselves. Have a safe trip home. That was really something special. Watching you two playing like kids all over that enormous bouncy castle on a lake. You both made it through the whole crazy thing like champs. Another beautiful episode of summer days in the English countryside. I think it's perfectly reasonable that Carlos wishes some solo time while Nicki visits with her friends. It allows you a chance to be quiet with your own thoughts and to enjoy nature at your own pace. The caves were interesting especially with the old dates carved into its walls. Was it musty and cool underground? Holly and Indie looked like they really enjoyed the open fields to romp around in. Liquid Leasure looked like a lot of fun for you too! Harry's recount of an angry Elton John in the foggy lift fiasco was funny!

Carlo, we are married 64 years and retired. We know all about being together 24/7. If we didn’t have snippets of time apart and alone we would have lost ourselves as individuals a long time ago. Away time is essential to the relationship and health. I could sit and watch the people at the water park all day. I laughed a lot. Harry your a treasure.

Pass on my thanks to him for allowing us a glimpse into his life. I've spent most of my career in a technical supportive role for a radio station on the Canadian prairies. We experience a very different show than what listeners get on the screen and on the air. I feel much like you Carlo. Sometimes, I just need time away from the people I spend every day with. In the end, it does us all some good.

I, like many others enjoy living vicarously through you two. I'm 51 from the U.S. As you get older it's going to become more difficult navigating 500 steps. At the end of the day, you have to find peace, and comfort. If Poistano is no longer proving that-- then you need to change. Maybe England would be more suitable. Best wishes-- Justin

Giving each other space makes for a healthy relationship. It gives each person a chance to breathe fresh air, to be alone with their thoughts, to observe your loved one being themselves while giving you a chance to enjoy the solitude to be with your own thoughts, to let your imagination wander and wonder what it must have been like to grow up and live there.
Allowing Nicki to visit and interact with her friends was kind, thoughtful and respectful. Especially when recognizing that she grew up with many of these people who are all part of her history and made her the person with whom you fell in love. ❤❤
