I just asked my designer girlfriend and i think she has a good point. If you go with the dark background, it's not so much of a statement as the light background- it kinda blends in. That leaves a really cool opportunity do do something cool with some statement furniture! If you go light background, it looks great but it also calls a lot of attention to itself.
I definitely think the one with the dark background looks better. The white is nice but I think it contrasts too much with the wood, whereas the dark background blends with it a bit.
The paper is lovely in both versions, but the light background gives the room just that bit of (very slight) contrast it needs--particularly with the full wall of paneling in the blue-green color.
I wonder if the light one will allow more mixing in of other fabric patterns in the room. It's also a nice balance with the check floor next to it when the door is open.
The darker one is more subtle and calmer. Love the design. Think it's my favourite. Love the twirling tendrils and the scratchy background giving texture. I vote for the darker one in this context. Well done Anna
Is it just me or does the one on the lighter background seem to have a yellower tint to it? I know the white in both prints are the same, but to my eyes it looks yellower on the left, which makes me feel more energetic. The blue background feels calmer.
For me, definitely the blue background wallpaper looks best. It will open up the opportunity to use bright accent colors in the room with pillows, curtains and so on.
I prefer the darker one from how it looks on camera. Somehow the lighter one looks more green/yellow. Also the dark one blends seemlessly and has a relaxed feel. No matter which color you choose though, the pattern is beautiful! You did an amazing job as always 🥰
Art teacher here 😂... I prefer the light one because the white is slightly warmer as the white over the darker one.. The light one makes the room look warmer while the darker ones make the room look and feel cooler... Both are beautiful, but the light one creates warmth and strong constrast against the darker colour on the rest of the room. Sending love and luck from South Africa!
Definitely the darker background it’s perfect. The garden is looking beautiful now Philip ,and you are wonderful trimming your tree, jumping like a professional ballet dancer lol!.. Such poetry in motion..It’s a good job you like gardening really as you have a lot of it..Sending love to you both and the girls 🥰
I prefer the dark background because it will blend better with the room making it look like a garden and making the woodwork fade into the wallpaper and viceversa.
I love your property ❤. I’m rarely envious but your home and garden make me dream of a different life! Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming 😊. Greetings from West Virginia, USA!
Both versions of the wallpaper are lovely. Either would work in the bedroom but my choice would be the darker one. Phillip in slow motion trimming the trees is hilarious. ❤
Seeing it through a camera lens is hard to judge because we don’t see it in actual light. I’m pretty sure you’ll find out yourselves what is best and both will look stunning. Such a great work, Anna!
I like the light background. I feel the dark makes the print look to similar to what you’ve done in other rooms. The light background is still harmonious with the style you’ve used in your chateau, but makes the beauty of the print stand out.
For once I agree with Philip. The darker one is so elegant and makes the design absolutely pop out. The pattern is totally dreamy - very much in the artistic spirit of Honfleur. I’m so happy for you that your design aspirations are taking off.
Beautiful wallpaper! Both would look stunning in the room, but I personally prefer the dark one for the dressing room. It's calm and cohesive and will marry well with all the other textures that will inevitably end up in the room too ;-)
The dark one is more subtle and calming, perfect for a master suite. I think the light one, although very beautiful, would end up making the expanse of the room look too busy. The light one would be beautiful in a smaller room such as an en-suite, hallway, music room, etc.
They are both gorgeous, but the darker one is so much more calming and relaxing, and I think for this room, and the trim, it blends the best! It might be easier to decorate as well. So I say the DARK!
I absolutely love the dark one, it makes the room look peaceful and warm. The lighter one, looks like a tinge of yellow that doesn’t really compliment the paint on the doors and cupboards etc. beautiful design Anna, you are a master at wallpaper design. Very creative. Phillip must have been a ballet dancer in his previous life!! 🙌🥂🥇👏👌
The dark one, for two reasons: one, it will provide a continuous visual impression from the painted wall to the papered wall, just enhanced with light embellishment; and two, it competes less with the tile in the bathroom, again providing just the right balance of cohesion and contrast.
The light background. The design pops out on the wall, the eye searches for and looks at the detail and overall, provides a soft contrast against all of the painted areas. Also, it looks clean and fresh, which is a welcoming vibe for the bedroom.
Your videos are always so calm yet inspiring. I love the print in both colors, Anna! Personally I think the background is still slightly too yellowish on the white one (at least on camera), and overall the dark background seems to harmonize a bit better in the dressing room, so my vote goes to that :) I really hope you'll be able to launch your wallpaper collection, super exciting!
Phillip "I can inject some passion in the bedroom" I am dead! LOL! Adore the slo-mo shots of Phillip jumping up to clip the tree branches especially that last jump when he landed with his feet perfectly together (3:28) so good! Both wallpapers would look lovely but I think the darker one just might be best! Well done Anna!
I think the dark one looks perfect with the trim-feels more cohesive and still bright enough to me.

I absolutely agree with this comment! ☺️🤗
I like the darker one. The wallpaper looks like it's part of the room because it blends nicely into the panelling.
agree! the dark wallpaper really feels like you're actually surrounded by plants. through the camera it looks so surreal.
I love the darker background. It makes the room an instant smile!😊
The dark one. Seems richer, more unique, has more confidence, but still has a delicacy to it.
The darker one for me. Both are lovely. It’s harder when your choices are both so wonderful!
The darker one gives the room richness...and you can see the pattern more. ❤
I also agree!!!
Dark one for sure, the richness & texture flows with the trim colour versus the white that kind of becomes a focal point for me.
Phillip! That takes running with scissors to a whole new level!!!!!
Was that you I was mind melding with?
Lol I was thinking the exact same thing…what could go wrong
A dangerous level.
As a kid I was told you shouldn't do that, but now that I've seen such a prominent influencer do it......
see what she did there ? brilliant, love it
I love both, but I like the lighter background better! Nice contrast with the paintwork
I definitely think the one with the dark background looks better. The white is nice but I think it contrasts too much with the wood, whereas the dark background blends with it a bit.
Agree. Both are beautiful but I prefer the lighter one in the room.
I agree, and if I recall, the room is faced north (?) so a lighter color would fit much better
Absolutely the dark one - it makes the room feel calmer to me.
The light one.
Yep, but I’m not a fan of the yellowish white
Dark

I wonder if the light one will allow more mixing in of other fabric patterns in the room. It's also a nice balance with the check floor next to it when the door is open.
For sure the lighter one
I agree with Phillip……I love the darker one. It’s stunning and I don’t think it shall “darken” the room. Not with all of the windows. Stunning!
Dark one, the warmer feeling is more appealing for such a large room.
The dark one matches the tile in the bathroom and makes the transition seamless!
The room has so much natural light that I think you can go with the dark.
The darker one! It’s so gorgeous and the bathroom floor compliments beautifully
I vote definitely for the dark background!!! It’s beautiful, but I agree they’re both gorgeous
The light version for the wardrobe, the dark one for the bedroom. Having such a print, I would want to use it in more than one place 😊
Correct answer and let me add, it is stunning!!!
Exactly I agree!
I like the idea of the darker one in the bedroom, and the lighter one in the wardrobe room.
I really like that idea, light for the dressing room and dark for the bedroom. But I am looking forward to seeing the passion flower one, too.
I like the idea of using both for the different rooms too.
The darker one is more subtle and calmer. Love the design. Think it's my favourite. Love the twirling tendrils and the scratchy background giving texture. I vote for the darker one in this context. Well done Anna
I like the lighter one. It brightens the room and makes the wooden stand out more.
The darker one looks gorgeous and more refined.
The darker back ground has a WOW effect to it. It draws your attention right a way. Beautiful work. God Blessed you with such talent..
I agree with the interior designer who posted. The darker background, to me, makes the space feel calmer.
Me as well.
The darker one is absolutely beautiful.
I prefer the dark one. It's subtler than the light one and doesn't look as busy. It's a beautiful design!
I like the darker background. It compliments the painted paneling. It’s beautiful, good job!
Interior Designer here....the darker one makes the room more visually quiet.
Agreed! The light background made it look a little too busy IMO
Yes, I agree! I think it opens up possibilities with the other decor in the room - artwork and furnishings.
Also designer, and totally agree. The darker one is more sophisticated.
Is it just me or does the one on the lighter background seem to have a yellower tint to it? I know the white in both prints are the same, but to my eyes it looks yellower on the left, which makes me feel more energetic. The blue background feels calmer.
The light background shows off the design much better. Love he design a lot.
For me, definitely the blue background wallpaper looks best. It will open up the opportunity to use bright accent colors in the room with pillows, curtains and so on.
Love the “light one”. A lot!!!
I love the darker one. Seems calming and peaceful to me. It’s lovely. You are so talented!
I think the darker one looks more elegant, I really love the design ❤️
I actually love the darker background!!! I seem to be the odd one out but to me it's warmer and blends beautifully!
The light one shows more detail. Looks marvelous. Good job!♥
I prefer the darker one from how it looks on camera. Somehow the lighter one looks more green/yellow. Also the dark one blends seemlessly and has a relaxed feel. No matter which color you choose though, the pattern is beautiful! You did an amazing job as always 🥰
❤i prefere the light one❤ ou dit a great Job again Anna stunning wallpaper ver exyting to hear its going in production 🎉
I’m with Phillip! I prefer the dark background, it make the room so elegant.
The darker looks peaceful and moody. For the bedroom "less flowers, more passion", time for some loving dear Phillip more than the house.
Definitely the wallpaper with the dark background, it’s beautiful
yes, once the two 'swatches' are hanging on the wall...can see the dark background blends well with the trim
Brings a softer look to the room ❤ it’s beautiful 🫶🏻
The darker one looks more elegant.
I like them both. I think the darker one is more subtle and will look less busy in the whole room than the light one.
I like the dark one better, it looks softer on the eyes and not as busy as the lighter one.
The darker one, and it’s very unusual, I agree with Phillip this time.
Anna, you are an artist. Do not ever again think of yourself as a casual dabbler.....such beauty you create!!!!
Definitely the darker background it’s perfect. The garden is looking beautiful now Philip ,and you are wonderful trimming your tree, jumping like a professional ballet dancer lol!.. Such poetry in motion..It’s a good job you like gardening really as you have a lot of it..Sending love to you both and the girls 🥰
the dark one blends with the cupboard walls creating a cohesive cocoon feel.
The dark one!! The light one is lovely, but it looks busy. The dark one feels more peaceful.
I think the light one makes the room brighter and happier.
I love your print and think the light background looks better in that room.
Dark. Background
Noise ?! Wonderful.
Love it!!!!
I like the dark one
Lighter background in the dressing room. Fabulous design Anna!
Both wallpaper samples are absolutely beautiful! However, I do prefer the darker one. It has a peaceful, calming effect for me.
I think they're both beautiful in different ways - but in that space, I think the darker background option suites the space better. 😃
The dark one…Both are beautiful!!! You did great!!👏👏
The dark background is lovely, and I would prefer it. The lighter background is somehow more tropical and less formal.
Phillip your pruning ballet was a delight! 🍃🍂🍃🍂
Definitely the dark background. Lovely and restful.
Definitely the light 💡one. It brightens the room.
Both versions of the wallpaper are lovely. Either would work in the bedroom but my choice would be the darker one. Phillip in slow motion trimming the trees is hilarious. ❤
Definitive the dark one, it makes rhe room very harmonius and will make an elegant descrete bakgrund for furnitures.
I prefer the dark background… it pops the entire color of the room. ❤
Seeing it through a camera lens is hard to judge because we don’t see it in actual light. I’m pretty sure you’ll find out yourselves what is best and both will look stunning. Such a great work, Anna!
The dark one! Color tones match more beautiful in that one!!
I love the darker wallpaper design.
Dark!!! It seems more calming than the the light one
Beautiful wallpaper! Both would look stunning in the room, but I personally prefer the dark one for the dressing room. It's calm and cohesive and will marry well with all the other textures that will inevitably end up in the room too ;-)

...the lighter one for the wardrobe/dressing room!
The dark is very soothing for the room.
Darker one - gives much calmer look, especially for bedroom
The dark paper really looks rich.
Dark background wallpaper looks the best… beautiful 💕
They are both gorgeous, but the darker one is so much more calming and relaxing, and I think for this room, and the trim, it blends the best! It might be easier to decorate as well. So I say the DARK!
I like the darker color. Magnificent!
the darker one is magnifique with the contrasting tiles from the bathroom peering through the door
The dark one is my favourite for a bedroom. Beautiful design!
From a designer's perspective, I'm with Phillip on the darker background but Anna, the design is beyond magnificent! 💛
This designer disagrees with you.
I agree with Philipp, the dark background does it for me. But they're both lovely!
I do like the darker one feel it’s more calming ❤ well done Anna you’ve done an amazing job of the design 👏🏻
Light one, as it contrasts with the wood trim very nicely. The Passion flower print is the best! 😊
I think the dark one brings the room together more, and sets off the bathroom to advantage. Great job!
Agreed. I'd say to go with that but print on a whiter background.
The dark ome, absolutely! 👍
I’m shocked but I agree with Phillip - I love the idea of the dark wallpaper to merge with the rest of the paneling.
I love the dark background because it creates a less stark contrast, making it softer looking.
the dark one looks fantastic
The design is more prominent in the light one, much more subtle in the dark one. I think I prefer the dark background. I enjoy the subtlety.
Dark one for sure! it's classy and elegant. the light one gives a nursery vibe...
I like the light background.
Light one for sure!!
Both very beautiful but the dark one blends and the light one comes to life on the light background :)
This print is stunning! 🤩 The darker background warms the room. I agree with Philip!
The light one on the left! It’s perfection.
Both are really beautiful. But for this room... The dark one! Brigitte 🌷
the contrast created by the lighter background is very elegant 👍
