So the Veloster N plays in that near perfect middle ground of price, performance, practicality and in my mind is just about perfect.

Own the Veloster N manual in performance blue. I’ve owned so many hot hatches. GTI, mazdaspeed3, Civic, mini jcw, amg gla 45. The Veloster N is my favorite. It’s so good, quirky, amazing in corners, highly customizable drive modes, amazing exhaust, and the fun factor is top notch.
I test drove a Veloster N yesterday and I couldn’t stop smiling. This thing is so much fun and shockingly practical for what it is.
I know right?? It has so much personality! I got to fit my son in the backseat (convertible carseat) with no issues whatsoever.
@@sportluxurytech I fully expect to pay around MSRP, but you know how dealerships love tacking on as much BS add-ons or fees as they can, lol
Hiding your like/dislike ratio is a pretty solid way to make sure most new viewers write you off from the start.

Cool review. I drove one, loved it, and am planning on buying if I can find a dealership willing to sell at a fair price (harder than you think)
I would have gone more into all the cool stuff you can customize with the driving experience. Also as a negative, I'd go into the quality of interior not being very great compared to competition.
I appreciate the advice and noted! The interior does have quite a few hard plastics but so does the Civic Si. The Veloster N has more personality though. The entire car market right now (used and new) is getting ridiculous...so it doesn't surprise that dealers aren't willing to budge.
Forgetting that active exhaust with the cracks and pops that 99.9% cars don't have coming right from the factory!!!
ah crap! totally forgot to put that in! Yes, the factory exhaust makes me giggle like a 4 year old with each pop and bang!
Love mine 2020 Veloster N ,plus the exhaust is awesome other cars don't have . good review...
Civic SI comes with a 1.5 not a 2.0. Other than that sweet review! Keep up the good work!

Bought one a week back, simply amazing 👌 only down side some safety options available in other regions is missing here in the middle east such as blind spot alert and lane keep🤔. Not cool at all specially with the high price.
be ready to hear the blind spot detection beep all winter long. they seem to malfunction when people including me change our Pirelli tires to winter tires which is weird.
The Ugly: The stock wheels. Veloster N owners can't give them away. Takeoffs are going for $600-$800 on the N forums. We laugh when the new guy to the forum posts their wheels for sale for anything over $1000. Mine came off at 93 miles and will never go back on. Crap Pirellis to boot.

@@kopusproductions They ugly. Polished aluminum bits don't work on that car.
Actually they did go back on the car. After I demounted the tires, powdercoated the wheels white and remounted the tires. Much better.

Electronic LSD
technically it's a mechanical LSD that is electronically controlled. An E-LSD is more of using the ABS to slow the rotation of whatever wheel.
