on a hill like that one you are cutting, does the size of the Humboldt wedge make a difference in how the tree is able to fall? or is it more due to the other tree contact as they start to fall? that is stunning how consistent you get them to fall at the same angle for ease of collection.
Let’s the tree set without putting a wedge in the back to hold it so after you push the tree over you don’t have to walk back up and find your wedge or wedges
Hello, saw your sponsored booth at the sand and sawdust chainsaw carving event at ocean shores, WA. guy was doing slab milling with the ms 880 ; thanks for being there. so far only carved bear ears and nose hoping you might post a vid from that.

Take my money!!!!!!
Hey quick question, on some of the fall notches you pierce through and not cut it in one go. Why's that?
"Ain't nothing going to stop em if they don't stop". Lol words of wisdom?
😂
Always appreciate the positive attitude and ready laugh. 👍

New to the channel. Enjoy the content.
Curious, how many extra chains do you take with you on a job like this or do you file as you go?
Can you do a video on how logs are scaled and how to get the most money for your logs
That would be a great video thanks for the tip I will see what we can do coming up 👍

Oh right that’s cool his name is Bill he’s a good guy
36 or 32 inch bar?
32”
Easy ground, not much other ground cover and well spaced trees - easy felling.
I miss the west coast !
That's were I learned to saw and now I'm in Michigan and they just don't get it over here
Rock on 🤘
How long of days do you guys work??
6 hours of cutting usually an hour drive each way and then we have to sharpen chains at night and get ready for the next day
Have you ever used a 462? If so what are your thoughts on it?
Great saw.

Whats the thing here? You are cutting them and an other crew will haul them?
Yes they came after and gathered everything and skidded to the landing
@@westcoastsaw1368 should have saved skidding and just launched them to the highway.😁
Cut 'Em 16'3"ish n pile them somewhere. I'll bring my sawmill up.

Fun video
I couldn't really tell how steep it was there until Garrett's saw went rolling down the hill
Should've brought bigger saws...

You should learn to edit better and put your pinched bar several trees before the back strap 3 some versus just before 🤣🤣. Just teasing
