- I love being able to help my friends whenever I can and I love bringing you along with me. This was a fun project helping clear some of the mud so my friends on the spit can jack up their boat to keep it nice and level. If you enjoyed this video please make sure to leave a like and subscribe.
Man I loved watching you, your wife and kids work around on that land. What yall did on your land is real and that's what I love. I enjoy paddling around our little place. 😂 so if you keep on keeping on Sir! People will watch you!😊
Always fun to watch the Kilchers do every day chores. Thanks
We want more of our favorite Alaskan families out there on the homestead. Stay healthy Otto.
Otto! You are The Master of The Bush Fix !!! Love everything you do . Keep it going my friend !
I enjoyed how you methodically fixed the electric pump and explained your thought process. Young people need to see more of this. Thanks for posting.
Exactly.. I was thinkin how I would have quit and called someone after so many attempts. We live in a world full of shortcuts that are actually encouraged. So from time to time I forget that there was a time when u just had to figure it out .
Love Your show God Bless
@@TheOfficialAT At 71 I don't mind working on stuff when I want to but starting to get tired of doing it cause I have to. Like Otto I'm too frugle to pay someone to do it for me.
Keep it simple stupid! Learned it in school, helped me become the mr fix it i am now!
i was just about to say that!
Otto you have a lot of the same hutzpah that my grandfather Earl inspired in me. Now I as a grandfather teaching my Grandkid's show your videos to show them I am not the only one that has fun as they work hard, play hard, power thru life. All with a laugh and story.
I love how the old timers have all the jingles for days! Otto sir not calling you old! You’re a classic!

I like watching you build stuff and do road work, move stuff with your boat etc..
Always fun to see, what you can accomplish with heavy machinery and ingenuity, Otto, keep them coming 🙂
Yes Sir... you and the ol Missy Dozer... you're two of a kind... once you get going you sing sweet songs of success!
PS - I'm loving the content you're giving us - very long may it last - to be honest - you're an inspiration!!
A jack of all trades and a Master of all!! Love the content, any and all!!! Keep it flowing!!
I’ve missed you Otto!! So glad to see you on TH-cam. Keep up to good work!
I lived in Alaska for five years. I enjoy following your adventures I find that there is so much more to a beautiful state than what I was fortunate to see and do. I truly loved living there. Thank you.
I enjoy adventures no matter what they are. You are like the depression era farmers I grew up around in the 60s. You couldn't afford to pay for things to be done for you. More often than not a neighbor helped out for future assistance when they needed it. So watching you takes me back to a time when everyone were much more self sufficient.
Be safe out there, Otto!
Cheers
Terry
Love these projects Otto, just getting to tag along and see the day to day projects is very cool to see
You are the best! When we watch you fix the unfixable, it reminds us of my Father. He ran an auto repair shop and could remove an engine by himself (so no one else got hurt). The trunk of his was always full of cans of oil, various belts and a huge collection of assorted tools to fix a problem where it was. Keep "trucking," OK in honor of my Dad, AJ. 😂
It is so neat that the Kiltcher family have a homestead near Homer Alaska. I like their principals and ethics on working hard. I grew up on a working family ranch in Texas and I understand the meaning of working hard.
Cute little tractor runs and works great.
Like all the different projects. Enjoyed the TV show and now you tube .
Your farm and projects remind me a lot of where I grew up in Wisconsin. You work hard and remind me of my dad. Thank you for keeping up on youtube, really enjoyed the show also - take care of yourself.

😂 gotta ❤ it when Otto even has to "OK" ( Otto Kicher) it to work! 😊 great job Otto 😊
Otto it’s so nice seeing you again… do whatever you want we’re watching , love from Los Angeles
I like your contact, I've always liked to see how you fix things and how you figure out to repair or come up with ideas on how to in your own way, just keep your vids coming this way. Larry
That's some good stuff right there Otto! Rough and tough out in the field, then faced with an issue, or three, lol. You have to be a jack of all trades when it's just you and dealing with a task that's packed with a minefield of problems. I worked out in the field as a commercial truck mechanic. They call them diesel technicians these days. I was alone everyday dealing with daily surprises and figuring out solutions. I'm certain there are many, many more things worse that you've dealt with than I, but its a familiar sight for me to see you in theses videos doing these things.
I am truly amazed at your skills.
I praise our heavenly Father for the gifts He has bestowed to you.
Keep up the good work.
I enjoy seeing your ventures, you remind me so much of my late wife's step father, he was a farmer who homesteded 360 acres near Eureka NV. You two were made from the same mold. Much respect and appreciate you stirring up some great memories. I see you around every nowadays then we're almost neighbors..lol I'm out on Northfork rd just outside of Homer
LOVE IT !!! Been Working on Farm equipment since the 1960's . More young folks need to learn these hands on skills. Keep this type of video coming ! Worked around Anchorage for several years ; sure miss the Woods and Waters.
I love watching you, Otto! You have more knowledge in your little finger, than most people today, will ever have, in their lifetime. Keep up the fun times!
Unfortunately, I lived alone for a long time. I’m a female. I do enjoy watching what you do. I like how you explain it. I like your sense of humor while horses are my love , then the land itself I like what you have been producing so please keep it up and thank you so much Keith stay safe
Oh my, I lived in Alaska for 30 years, and that’s about exactly how every project would go. Even the derelict boats, and all the junk kinda made me homesick. Good video. Thanks!
Your a natural otto ! Great to see your still traveling along 😊
Love it, keep it coming Good to know I ain't the only one that has to work on everything two hours to get it running so I can work. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
Enjoy your videos Otto. Keep em coming!
Good stuff Otto 😁 you could do any kind of work, 😁 I'd be watching, God bless you, wife ❤️🙏 and family 💞
. I enjoy following your adventures 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Otto, Ive watched you and family for years. We love you and family thru anything. From Michigan w/Love.
Otto, I have always enjoyed watching you and your family living in Alaska. I'm sure that it's not an easy life and it's something that I would enjoy doing, if not for my health. Please keep up with the adventures of the Kilcher family, whether it is fishing, hunting, repairs on the machinery, or anything else. Many Blessings to you and your family.
Fabulous job Otto !! We always enjoy going on an adventure with you !!🇺🇸
Nothing like a down to earth person to the point, no arguments just to the point. Cheers mate. 👍🇨🇦 Tatamagouche, NS.
I love this content and would love to see more similar content. In fact I only wish it had been longer and you showed more footage of the process. Equipment, boats, anything with an engine, fabrication, mechanics, construction, hunting, animals that’s all things that I enjoy and why I loved the show. In fact the pirate ship house was one of my favorite episodes. That’s right up my alley what a home! You’re a wealth of knowledge and I didn’t once question what you were doing rigging up that pump, I’d of done it the same way, except I’d of probably had to rob wire of something cause I forgot to put my jumper cables back in my truck when I used them last. 😂 couldn’t think of a better way to live, you’re in my version of paradise. Hope to see lots more!
I enjoy watching everything you do. Your explanations and insight are priceless.
Definitely enjoy all your content. You're a lucky man living the life you do keep it up 👌
Hey Otto, I'm a southern California guy the same age as you. Have always been a fan of the Kilcher's . Your wealth of knowledge about stuff and having a happy life is what we all should strive for. Keep them coming . My father was also Swiss.
Otto do what you do. We will watch. I appreciate you and your family carving out a life in Alaska, the last frontier.
I'm so glad someone has problems other than me. just fill it with fuel.....4 hours later....1 step forward, two steps back. Love it.
Your videos make me miss living in Homer, I actually used to live not too far from the homestead, down Walters on Frontier lane. I hauled some slab wood for Stellavera before she had the fire😢. She was going to use the wood for building treehouses for some kind of kids camp.
You are full of knowledge Otto and the best kind first hand experience! Yes we want to see everything you think is worth filming! Much love to you and your awesome kilcher family you guys are awesome to watch!
I have always enjoyed watching you
Always a great watch Mr 👍👋🇨🇦
Keep doing what you’re doing! I hope you have many many more years of happiness, homesteading, and sharing your family and the success of your raising a family in a harsh environment! You’ve proven that it’s Possible! I hope the rest of America, and maybe even the world can take note and we can do better!!

I enjoy these types of videos. I like the variety as well as the length- long enough, but not too long. Looking forward to seeing more.

Otto. You just like that little pink rabbit. You just don’t quit. Yippee 😅
I am deeply impressed by your determination and resilience in facing the challenges of whether it will start, dealing with stolen fuel, and navigating the tides on Alaska's frontier with Otto. Your ability to tackle these obstacles with such tenacity and resourcefulness is truly admirable. Your journey showcases both your bravery and problem-solving skills. And I am Floating Village Life
Otto love what you do more please. Thanks for shareing.
I could watch Otto all day. Problem solver King!!!💙. Passed the talent on to Eivan for sure😊
My dear papa would have loved watching you, Mr. Kitchen. He was a diesel truck mechanic and could fix any issues that had to do with engines. He was born in 1909, basically self-taught. Thank you for bringing us along (your viewing fans)
Thanks Otto always a pleasure to watch keep-um coming!!!!!
I enjoy this type of content. Will it runs are also pretty popular and I’m sure you have a lot of that around the homestead.
Sir: You SIR still GOT IT!!!!! WOW Love to see a real tuff rawhide at work. Still inventing as he goes along. Hope that talented daughter of yours is doing as good as YOU SIR are. Great video. Thank you!!! 10 stars.
I would watch you talk about paint drying haha. My only suggestion is to feature both the Atz because we miss them too! So glad you're back.
You are right on with your stuff. This will help young folks. Where there’s a will there’s a way.
I Always enjoy watching you do things that help others in your community, reminds me of my late Father. 🙂
Love you channel and your videos, I live I live vicariously through you
Oh, I remember the pirate ship from a few years ago on Alaska:The Last Frontier. It’s good to seeing you looking so well.
I can remember when the pirate ship used to be the "Cape Lynch" and belonged to New England Fish Company.
Otto probally not the only one that enjoys watching you do what you do, you remind me of the cullmination of knowlege, and skills, tried and true. Toughness and tenderness when lifes mean and sad. And so on, and thank you!
