Casey, that's generous of you to make a deal with this customer on payment. It was a good idea for the customer to make that choice. Excellent humanitarian video!
There was a lesson in here in case anyone missed it ... since this is a lightweight vehicle, you use the smaller rope. When doing a dynamic recovery like this, bigger is not always better. You have to size the rope to the weight of the vehicle being recovered. You can adjust your throttle position to the weight of the vehicle doing the recovery. Consult the rope manufacturer for the correct size rope for your application.
Ideally you would size the rope to the lightest vehicle in the recovery, whether that's the vehicle being recovered or the vehicle doing the recovery. The force you can generate is going to be determined by the lightest vehicle. For instance, if Casey was trying to recover a bus with the Blazer (obviously not an ideal situation) it wouldn't help any to use a big rope sized for the bus if the Blazer can't generate the force necessary to stretch it. Yes, more speed gives you more force, but there's a point of diminishing returns where you're just increasing the likelihood of doing damage to the recovery vehicle and you should be switching to a winch or some other safer option. You're absolutely right though that it's important to size the rope to the recovery so that it can perform the way it's designed to.
When I started reading your comment I thought you were going to describe a lesson in kindness or charity or something 😆 But no, your lesson is nice, but a little more practical. 😏

@@fixednstoned861lmfao!!!!!😂😂😂😂. I don’t think the Chinese govt will be as forgiving as the Canadian one, at least not with the current world situations.
The two of you enjoying each other’s company while getting out of a difficult situation! My two daughters are adopted from China and I’d like to imagine that was a relation with how cool he was. Your having him make a donation was awesome! Thank you for being you!!!
What a great breath of fresh air this was! Wouldn't it be great if the whole world conducted itself in this manner? A job well done Casey you deserve an attaboy badge.
The world needs more real heros like u. Thank you.
I just watched the whole video without realizing it. Congratulations to humanity!!

What a great guy...Reminds me of the time my wife and I were touring Korea, and met a local shopkeeper while shopping in his small store in Seoul. We joked around about prices, became fast friends and stayed in contact after I returned back to the US.
Casey, I agree with you completely. I travel the world a bit myself. And almost every time I meet somebody from what our media tells us should be our enemies I find the exact same situation as you just experienced. It’s really good food for thought. And I think people should go and meet Other people in the world before they pass universal judgement.
I really appreciate for your patience explaining things in simple English to someone who doesn't speak or understand well. Thank you so much, Casey. I also like Roy's attitude that he fully trusts you. Sometimes things won't work in a good way if the people involved are not right.
Casey,
That was a outstanding gesture and 1 of the best donations to mention to your customer
Outstanding Attitude and really seemed Genuine
Thanx for Sharing this Great Content and Video

Supper cool guy, need more people in the world like him...
why I feel so touched when I see perfect people likee you !
He's the type of person that I'd love to be able to help out just to be around. He was a great person from the beginning, and it was easy to tell that he felt bad about needing the help, especially without payment finalized, but was grateful that you arrived.
that guy is gonna go home and tell this story about this nice American man that helped him for free, this was a really nice international gesture of good will, i know you often do these recoveries for free but this one was especially nice to see
It truly is a small world, and you make it even better.
What a cool guy.We fell in love with a Chinese man and woman that owned a ma and pa business. When they moved,it was like losing family. Now he gets to go back home to tell what a great experience he had here. All because of you.😀
