Vertical Furnace Array Minecraft 1.21 (Java and Bedrock)

- The first true vertical furnace array for Minecraft. Not the fastest at 8,250 items per hour, but definitely a unique one. I do enjoy watching the initial startup sequence, regardless of how bad the design actually is.
Feel free to use, and improve upon this design (if there is anything left to do).

1 benefit for this design is since its vertical it would only take up 1 chunk. So you can minimize the amount of chunkloaders you'd need if you wanted to run this while away in the world
yeah that is actually usefull
Not only that, some designs break when they are not fully loaded in, for example, servers, this wouldn't happen here as it is inside one chunk. It is always fully, not partially, loaded.
I don't want to sound like a pessimist, but most furnace arrays can fit in one chunk. Although no one would complain if Mojang fixed chunk loading and unloading breaking things.
Or just use ChunkLoaders mod.
@@MrW4ippy in vanilla servers? Lol
I can already tell this guy is a legend based on the background music
"Why should you build this? You shouldn't."- I felt that
This ist the kind of stuff I'm still trying to learn, when I'm building something it as to be the perfect, most efficient design and this is gatekeeping me so hard from having fun at the game sometimes.
I apologize if it felt like I was gatekeeping. That was not the intent as the next words I said were "because of how bad this design is." Then the next 20 minutes are explaining how it works and include a block by block tutorial. Do as you wish, I was warning that it is not worth the time.
Well he said that because the design is bad, with all due respect. If you wanted to, you can just build one. It might be not the best, but it is vertical. I can see some uses due to it being vertical despite being less efficient. You will have a giant item-cooking pillar as opposed to others just having a fallen item-cooking pillar
if you want a good furnace design, get some chests get some hoppers, get some furnaces, feed fuel, feed product, output chest, build a couple banks and you're good they will burn steady and it works every time. I use lava buckets, since there is always plenty of lava,
@@cswertwertwert I think he wasn't saying you were gatekeeping, but that he was gatekeeping himself by trying to design perfect stuff, instead of having fun like you (I also suffer from this)
10x cooler than all other designs tbh.
It's the perfect example of why we discover things by accident in science (and in MC science). Someone tries a lot of weird quircky design to do basicly something unpractical and then in their stubborness they come accross a strange mechanic that would be exploited and perfected in the future. Keep doing what you're doing sir !
wow, there is really a lot of work was done before the final iteration!
you inspired me to never try it by myself and always search for the pre-made tutorial for now on :DD
So like I’ve had a crazy idea for years for a auto smelter that is also attached to a kelp farm that’s attached to another smelter for the kelp that I’ve not been able to fully realize, that is until the crafter got added to the game. And so now I want to tackle it, and I’m thinking of throwing this in there. So thanks for inspiring me, even if it’s a goofy design
I love the clay pot hopper intermediates :D !! I'll definitely be using that idea ❤ though I wish we could color them to look like hoppers, maybe like hardened clay colors. Also, instead of loading it from the top, you could load it from the bottom with a water column :D !
Yeah, why aren't the decorated pots colorful? Also I am not the first to use them like this, but it is a great idea.
Very cool! I've tried building something similar to the spiral down railtrack, but spaced out more so that the items would be spat into the middle for the player to collect. The biggest issue I found was the minecart's momentum being effected by its load. I just wanted a touch of whimsy.
This is the best Vertical Furnace Array Minecraft 1.21 (Java and Bedrock) I have ever seen.
glorious morning waterflame sheeeesh
we all had the same childhood lmaooo
Love the zelda background music👍
Every time i make a machine i imagine myself making a video and i also say "why should you build this? You shouldn't."
So i felt that its nice to cover new areas of redstone and make weird stuff but its not always practical for survival
Is this the "age of war" soundtrack?? I had to stop the video to go confirm
Yes it is glorious morning. I intended to use glorious morning 2 song because I used the first in the last video, but it was copyright claimed.
scalable ig, w vid
lol age of war song, W
what's the song at the beginning of the video? 🥺🥺🥺
The boss theme from sonic 2.
Reminds me i didn't finish the 1 wide furnace array
8:32 "...can be done in a straight line just as quickly, but faster".
Cut a guy some slack, it was all in one take.
Is there a world download link?
No, I only do world downloads when it involves a datapack.
Im pretty sure that wont work on bedrock, because of the noteblocks
Just before the tutorial I show it on bedrock. Noteblocks were swapped out for trapdoors.
@@cswertwertwert oh cool
@@cswertwertwert my bad
imagin you can cover this invention into a big pee pee
suggestion : why not submit this inventions into tmc catalogue dc server???
yeah i ain't making that shit..
