Self-aware that he isn't the forefront of this sector, and it also allows viewers to know there's other things to explore. "The crazy stuff you see here is only the surface of this all" He's still highly skilled in this regard, and it deserves major respect
To be even more overkill and fix the problem of the waterlogged scaffolding not arriving in the shape to immediately make an infinite water source, maybe you could predict the alignment with the block grid and add an input to the machine to toggle between the two distances shown in the videos set when separating the payloads, so that it works every time. If you can predict that the scaffoldings will not arrive correctly, you could also just output on the spreadsheet that that configuration/location is not recommended. Anyways, love the vids, they are always so engaging, inspiring, and educational.
I don't think that's necessary. For my nether water project, I was able to use bone meal and kelp/seagrass to spread water wherever I want. To move water up, I used a mangrove root, sticky piston, and a button on the side. Which let me get >300k water sources from just 1.

What can I say, I even forgot what the crazy tech minecraft server was where they made infinite spawn speed witch farms, but I certainly remember enough to say this stuff is approaching some of their builds soon
I remeber a few months ago doc uploded a video on Hermitcraft were he went to the world boarder, he used the glitch that allowed you to push 2 differnt slavs ontop of each other and the next day Ray put up a post on yt complaining about Doc not giving them credit for it
Loved the video, but one comment: Instead of having to send the scaffolding to the nether, just send one through, then build the overworld contraption in the nether. Saves the effort of the waterlogged scaffolding being sent to the overworld
The player needs to go to the cannon to use it, so that would risk loading the chunks containing the scaffolding. Storing them in the overworld is much safer because the overworld is much bigger and there is much less of a risk for players to accidentally load the falling block storage.
@@Kaiasky that's where the secret orbital strike cannons come in to play. they automatically home in on and shoot anyone down before they can cross the line.

you how there are 2 ways to put on armour? you can equip it from your inventory or just right-click while holding it. Well turns out that the game treats equipping from your inventory the same as right-clicking while holding the armour. which means that if Steve is looking at something that can be interacted with via a right-click, then even if you go into your inventory to equip the armour steve will still right-click the thing you were looking at in the world activating it. had it happen with a storage drawer, while holding my pickaxe, and for those who don't play modded you right-click to put what you are holding into the drawer. thought i lost my pickaxe untill I saw it in the drawer and put 2 and 2 together. Not useful trivia i don't think and I haven't repeated it to make sure, so take it with a pinch of salt.
I didcoved this geound vreaking new way to move water sources in the nether. Its called kelp. I invented kelp and any time you see kelp ypu should credit me for finding a way to move water in the nether
Obviously it’s not as convenient as sending two water sources, but unless they changed something, you should be able to use kelp to create additional water sources from the flowing water of a single source.
Yes, you can just do that. I'm surprised that he didn't talk about that, as getting falling waterlogged scaffolding crashes the server on each attempt (as he said), so minimising the amount needed would be preferred.
Taking sole credit for core gameplay, bugs that other people discover, and farms that his community creates, then telling his viewers to spread that misinformation is downright vindictive. The only thing that could show that we've had enough of his lies is by denying him the only thing he wants more than anything, views. Sending negative comments, or down voting his videos is not enough, as they count as interactions. To that effect, I've finally decided to tell TH-cam to stop recommending Ray's channel and all of his content, and if you feel the same way, you should too.
One better: install the BlockTube browser extension and block Ray in it so that you don't see his videos in searches or even see his comments on other people's videos

But if I'm honest, this seemed more like him being honest and humble. Self-aware that he isn't the forefront of this sector, and it also allows viewers to know there's other things to explore. "The crazy stuff you see here is only the surface of this all"
He's still highly skilled in this regard, and it deserves major respect

To be even more overkill and fix the problem of the waterlogged scaffolding not arriving in the shape to immediately make an infinite water source, maybe you could predict the alignment with the block grid and add an input to the machine to toggle between the two distances shown in the videos set when separating the payloads, so that it works every time.
If you can predict that the scaffoldings will not arrive correctly, you could also just output on the spreadsheet that that configuration/location is not recommended.
Anyways, love the vids, they are always so engaging, inspiring, and educational.
This would technically be possible to implement, but would require a manual toggle and an indication from the spreadsheet.
I don't think that's necessary. For my nether water project, I was able to use bone meal and kelp/seagrass to spread water wherever I want. To move water up, I used a mangrove root, sticky piston, and a button on the side. Which let me get >300k water sources from just 1.

yeah the beef has been going on for a while- he shaded ilmango and cubic in one of his videos a while ago which immediately raised my eyebrows, and I knew he was accused of stealing farms, but it is nice to know what specifically

the last part of this video and all your videos on orbital strikes are so useful for understanding vector spaces, thank you!
@@cubicmetre How does Wavetech handle these exclusion zones? Do you build a wall around it, or is it just marked on people's maps?
@@Kaiasky that's where the secret orbital strike cannons come in to play. they automatically home in on and shoot anyone down before they can cross the line.

Rays works content, build style, redstone, video style and so on NEVER CHANGED. He would have fallen off long ago
The thing about ray is he makes videos for people who have 0 clue where any of this stuff comes from, it just perpetuates this type of thinking among serfs that mumbo jumbo and raysworks are some type of redstone gods and I think ray at least has embraced it and not tried to oppose anyone titling him as such. Quite literally his strategy is to hope you never check or never find out where it actually came from.

you how there are 2 ways to put on armour? you can equip it from your inventory or just right-click while holding it.

Havent watched the video yet, but when i saw that you build that goddamn thing in the nether made me think „Wtf”
I didcoved this geound vreaking new way to move water sources in the nether. Its called kelp. I invented kelp and any time you see kelp ypu should credit me for finding a way to move water in the nether
Well, I think we found it. The best name for a Minecraft rule ever. YeetUpdateSupressionCrash.
Thank you for explaining block event culling, I've been having trouble with a mob farm that I now realize was breaking because of that.
