The 1 Chunk MEGA Furnace Array For Minecraft 1.21 Pt 3 Finale (Java and almost Bedrock)
Reuploaded because the 4k high bit rate encoding failed to process.
After spending way too much time on this, I have finally made a 622k item per hour furnace array fit within one chunk. Not a single block is outside the boarder to even bounce a minecart off of.
Also included is a much more reasonable 100k item per hour design that still fits within one chunk. Not as impressive, but nothing to be scoffed at either.

Converting bone blocks into bamboo planks Minecraft 1.21 (shapshot 23w51b)
มุมมอง 5249 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this long video I show how to convert bone block into bamboo planks using the crafter coming to version 1.21. Bone block breaks down to bonemeal, then a dispenser grows 1 or 2 stages of bamboo. It is broken by a piston, collected, and finally crafters combine the bamboo into bamboo blocks which are then converted into bamboo planks. While I personally prefer a passive farm, the 4X dispenser ...

A very simplistic design that has decent yields. 40 or 80 blocks per explosion, depending on resistance, for 18k per hour. Non duped TNT is loaded on top, uses about 3.5 stacks for weaker blocks per hour of use, 7 for harder ones. The footprint is a 11x12 and can vary in height. The collection on the bottom does not need to be as big as I made it. The design sacrifices the efficiency of timing ...

    The problem with tree farms is that it cant be fully automatic without bonemeal plus if you dont wanna duplicate tnt you have to creat a mob farm (creeper, ghast or witch) and dig sand manually so might as well go with a blaze or a Wither skeleton mob farm i prefer having a bamboo farm with bonemeal farm so i could chunkload the area even if theres no players close again can technically be achived with azalea and tnt if your ok with sand or tnt dupers i would also like to add with no bonemeal flying machine bamboo farms are criminally easy and cheap to make but you cant chunk load it Also the limitation of hopper is an easy fix you can run hopper carts along the fuel hopper insurring a controlled distribution system

    Started watching your vids. Really nice stuff. What I'm curious about here though, what is the situation you propose this in? I feel like Efficient tnt blast chambers that use block 36 is the usecase for dispenser/non duping tnt. These designs seem like are more useful for people that do dupe, but I assume that wouldn't work with this piston layout? Or is this specifically for people that don't like duping in early game?

    I just designed my own take on a vertical furnace array and I haven't fully fleshed out the design, its functional albeit mostly manual for the steps needed to run it, my current design actually uses very little redstone, 1 piston and observer and a bunch of redstone dust and torches and a small handful of repeaters

    • @thecatsmith
      @thecatsmith 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Update, i just checked and with a minor tweak i was able to fit 4 of them in a single chunk and ive also calculated the maximum amount of furnaces, the ideal amount would be 160 furnaces and a less ideal but still functional amount would be 320 furnaces.

    • @thecatsmith
      @thecatsmith 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      160 furnace version would be 93 blocks tall based on my calculations, and the 320 furnace version would be 173 blocks tall, how i calculated the height was, (F/2)+13 (F=number of furnaces)

    7:04 hoppers do have a 0.4 second cooldown before they can pick up more items though. Using droppers to dump a constant stream of items into the system instead of tossing a bunch in at once, you can use this to brute force items past a hopper even though it isn't full yet. That's 2.5 items per second. So, for every hopper you want to feed, you need to send an additional 2.5 items per second downstream to keep all prior hoppers occupied enough for the new items to slip through. So for 10 hoppers, that's 25 items a second, which should be doable with multiple droppers working in sync.

      The hoppers pointing into the side of the furnaces can be supplies from any line. If you want it to be at the back the line of hoppers about the ones going into the furnace would be straight across. If you split it in the middle the lines will point to the front and back. Hope this helps.

    Did you do a calculation for how many bamboo plants are required per furnace if you don't convert them to planks or sticks? I currently have a giant bamboo farm feeding into my furnace array, and have always been curious how much efficiency I'm losing by not converting them to planks.

    • @cswertwertwert
      @cswertwertwert 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no reason not to convert to sticks at the very least. It doubles the number of furnaces that can be supplies from a single hopper line. Converting to planks would let you smelt 3 items instead of 2 at the cost of 1 additional bamboo. Unless you are worried about wasting fuel, planks are definitely the way to go.

    Shouldn't the self-supplied adjustments also apply to charcoal? Also, the furnace array for kelp can actually be a smoker array, so it can be a lot smaller than the furnace array it supplies with fuel. IMHO the main benefit of bamboo and kelp is that you don't need to harvest them explosively. That makes farming them a lot more compact than any tree farm with a comparable bonemeal consumption.

    • @cswertwertwert
      @cswertwertwert 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When it comes to tree farms the yields are so high they tend to break all the numbers. Even a 500 log per hour design will get 2k planks, enough for 8 furnaces continually supplied, on par with the bonemealed bamboo. And it uses less bonemeal at the cost of a blast chamber.
