Lafayette Louisiana net and twine Mr Billy makes them Thanks again for another awesome video I really enjoyed it and as always I'm really looking forward to seeing the next video
Love these videos, I was born and raised in Jonesville and know Mr Lee well. I live in Simsboro now and your vidoes have inspired me to start fishing nets again like when i was a kid around Jonesville. thanks for the content and keep the grease hot and the lines wet!
wanting to order me a couple of these wire nets could you do a video on showing more detail of dropping them in water and how to hook up on them when trying to find them? are you putting a rope on each end with weights and pulling tight when placing in water like you do on your hoop net videos?
Lots of our videos on hoop nets show how we put them in. Wire nets a little different. You don't have to use two ropes, but I like using a weight or anchor, 50 ft rope on each end small weight on head end. That way it's easy to drag up
Well if you can’t use the last couple How To videos you put out on catching catfish with nets, it means you don’t have any catfish in that water. Good stuff Bradley. This should help out a lot of people.
Yeah Roy, they right in the heart of Louisiana Waterways. That's the think people from other states don't understand when it comes to our liberal limits. Louisiana is 1/3rd water🤣
Never. That's just a drag up lead. Anchor is on tail end. We run 50 ft rope and a couple pounds weight on front so we can drop it all on bottom. That allows us to drag it up. Less likely to me messed with that way
The net Co. sells the blocks 6 dollars a piece or if you buy 8 or more 4.40 a bloc and they come 8 to the case. Champlin if I read it right sells a 10 block case for 40 dollars
Honestly it boils down to getting the best deal for all of us, considering gas for pickup or delivery costs. We're not sponsored by any of them, so it doesn't matter to us. Only ones were sponsored by is Cooters in Farmerville, so locally to North Louisiana, of course we push to buy from them. Cooters also prices fairly as well. For us here in North Louisiana, it's not worth paying shipping or driving down for a few blocks. I think you will find that once the 10 block cases are gone, there won't be anymore. My understanding is all you'll be able to get is 8 count.
I was going to ask you where do you live at and what rivers do you fish in how how far is it from your home to where you go fishing can I want to know where your fishing so I can look it up on a map
Where In North Louisiana in the Monroe area. We fish the Ouachita River and surrounding lakes. Most are within 30 min drive, but with run out couple hours drives at times!!
These family-friendly videos are much appreciated.
Thank you, and thanks for watching

Got mine at cooters in farmerville. Got a bucket of cheese too!
Awesome, good place to shop. Don't use up all that cheese on them Mudcats, lol

Thanks Buddy!!
Bradley: great job on the video - now get the grease hot! Great people in Catahoula parish and believe me, they know how to catch fish. Cheers - Roy

Question why do you tie your anchor lead on the throat end?
Never. That's just a drag up lead. Anchor is on tail end. We run 50 ft rope and a couple pounds weight on front so we can drop it all on bottom. That allows us to drag it up. Less likely to me messed with that way

If I put one in a creek with flowing current which way should I face it?
The open mouth end, (head of the net) should always be facing down stream. Fish swim up stream, into the current

You’re right. Everything you need to know about wire net traps. Just know your laws
Exactly on the laws. Definitely keep it legal. Net fishing has had a bad wrap for years, but most of that stems from unethical, or illegal practices
I prefer the block bait over the cheese. And it catches really well.
Definitely the easy, less messy way, but I won't say best catching way. I've seen what cheese will do!!
Do they not have a web site where a guy can check out their products?
Yes, I believe they do. They also still mail out catalogues.
Can you fish these nets in ponds with no current?
Yes, if you have channel cats in the pond
@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 okay thank you
What yall do with them tiny cats
If they stay in the boat, they get eaten as whole fryers or fillets.
@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 got ya . Just seems not worth the reward to eat them that small . But can say my step mom loves them Lil fryers
Are u catching crawfist to?
Not yet. Hopefully in a few weeks
Thanks
Thanks for watching
A body cood fill his deep freeze with fish with these here nets. It mite be ill eagle in my state, but it aint ill eagle unless I get caught

Can’t fish these south of I - 10.
I'm not sure on that. If not, I didn't know that
I have 2 wire nets and that’s enough for me
It really is. You can feed your whole family with 2 nets
For a while lol
I can't find anything in Texas law if they legal here.
We only fish nets in Louisiana, so our Laws are what we go buy. You need to check yours states regulations, or talk with game and fish.
Not legal in texas
OKAY
Lol, thanks!!
If I was Betting' Id Bet Asian's make the Best Fish Net's known to Man.🤧😊
Well, some of the math behind net making come from over seas. I know there are good net makers of such different kinds in other countries for sure
