South, our 'heat index' can be 98-105 at 2a.m. I lived decades up north, there's no comparison even when the actual temp is the same here. Humidity at 95%, dew point in the upper 80's. And the sun, yeah right. Leave a new bucket sitting in the sun for 4 weeks, pick it up and it shatters like an egg shell. And it's wonderful here, wouldn't go back north for a million dollar payday.

These are Fiberglass rods. I've made some in the past, but Mr Jeff and his son have a business in Warren Arkansas and they sell these. First time I've fished with these big ones and I'm here to say they are great!!! They are sponsoring us, so you'll see there poles in future video, but I only fish stuff that works. Theirs are way better than the ones I made. I catch, but theirs is a system. They have 8ft 1/2" ones and 10 ft 5/8" ones. Both have their place, but that extra 2 ft makes a huge difference on sloped banks.
