I just stumbled across your channel. I'm a baptist pastor.i love your content
Glad you found us!! Thanks for watching, jumping in the comments sections, and commend you on being in Ministry. Really appreciate the folks that interact through comments section, because that's the only true feedback we get from an audience we don't know
Sometimes I wonder how good channels like this that turn out great videos can get hundreds or thousands of views on a video and only a handful of the 17,000 + subscribers ever take just an extra second to hit that thumbs up or leave a comment saying "Thanks for takin us along with ya. Good job". Makes me shake my head sometimes. Well folks, thanks for making a Sunday morning that much better. It's always fun to to spend a few minutes with yall enjoying the outdoors and learning new tricks. God bless.
That’s the truth. It doesn’t cost anything to hit the like button
We really appreciate your comment and shout out. We're going to get there God speed.
Truth. Thanks for all the support.
Doesn't cost anything to hit the like button and let every ad play through.
Don't have to watch, minute or more it's a trip to the frig, bathroom. I once let a 34 minute ad play through elsewhere. Had plenty of time to head for the garage and switch stuff from one boat to the other, easier leave the next morning.
Bradley is doing pretty good with the subs, wasn't that long ago he was celebrating 5K, good content does that.
@Ray56z Thanks!! I'ma say 95% of the people watching TH-cam don't know how it works. I might do an actual video on this one day. If nobody likes our videos, it would be like a switch turned off at headquarters. We get a high percentage of repeat viewers, so I know our base watches every week, yet only about 5% hit the thumbs up. Lot of people also think Subscribe means they gotta pay. Subscribing is free, but we actually don't make anything off subs. TH-cam pays us a small amount for advertising during our videos. Without the advertising, we don't get a penny. What gets our videos seen more is avg view time, likes, shares, comments. That's why we are interactive with all our comments, because we really do appreciate it. Our Like count should be way higher, but we're not the type to beg viewers to interact. Hope this helps explain things to a few people
What a great trip!!! Thank you for making these videos!!! This is all the fishing action I am getting right now till I can get new knees and become mobile again!!! May the Lord keep you all safe and bless your home!!!
Thank you sir. We are glad we can help, and we'll be praying for you.
I’m sitting here cooking down all my stuff to make me a batch of homemade boudin right now. Looks like y’all had a dang good time. I love that camper. Happy late Mother’s Day!!!

Some good looking ops there. Love what you guys do. Hang in there.

I really enjoy your videos, i just bought a cast net for getting my live bait 😊😊😊. Please keep your videos coming, I especially love the catch, clean, and cook videos! I had been trying to catch bluegill to use for bait, but they didn't take the worms. 😅😅😅😅😅
Hang in there we usually go to crickets the 1st of May.

Haven’t had many opportunities to comment this year, But this was an awesome video.
Luv that camper, and of course the wife giving you a hard time. Great entertainment and you have no idea how much I envy ya’ll.
Can’t wait till the next one.
I think D's harass is probably the real reason y'all watch🤣🤣. Either way it's real and what I deal with daily🤣. God Bless, and thanks for watching
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 ROFLOL, one of the best video moments was when she was giving you crap and you, in a Louisiana accent said "Don’t be ignert"
ROFLOL
Lots of laughs and I appreciate ya’ll.
@emilypulled312 In all the times I watched that footage in editing and final viewing, I didn't catch that, so now you know it's 100% natural and I probably tell her that every day 🤣🤣🤣
Great stuff! Like that super camper!
Thanks! Super camper is legit we just need to use it more.
Like that video and all of them.
Thanks Taylor for all your support and always being in the comment section
Nothing wrong with that! That’s a good way to spend a weekend. Danielle was trying to break your focus 😆
Danielle always breaks my focus 🤣
Great content. Inspired me to get back out and set some poles. Been a few years
Awesome!!! Good luck catching!!
Love the video y’all be safe and blessed
Thanks, definitely blessed all the time, and we try to be safe most the time, lol
Another good one!👍🏻
Thanks!!
The good lord definitely blessed y'all !! Tight Lines !!
Every day in God's country is a blessing. Thanks for watching.
Country people will survive when the cities fall apart.
Best believe them and preppers were during the big C, when grocery stores were limiting how much meat you could buy.
You got that right!
Yes sir, we didn't buy any meat during that time.
Truth. FedEx drivers snivel about those small, very heavy boxes though.
@@Ray56z
I know what your talking about ! Lol. Years ago I worked at the post office. I’ve picked them boxes up myself. I didn’t snivel because I knew what was in there and some of them was mine !! Lol
First time stopping by. Instant sub. Good stuff brother! 🐟🐟🐟
Thanks, glad you found us!!!
That looks like fun. May have to get some of them poles.
I don’t think Josh is loving that camera just yet.😂
Again you made me hungry.
🤣🤣🤣 Josh may never get use to the camera. Thanks for watching. I always enjoy seeing your comments.
Them big mouth green sunfish are great bait and a close second would be the long-ear sun perch. Btw, nice caravan....
Thanks. I'll take either any day over bluegill for bait.
Looking good!
Yes sir, thanks!!!
Best kind of living life right there
It's good sometimes to just get away.
Good video keep up the good work
Thanks!! We hope to be here for a while.
Love doing that and camping
Always a good time!!
Down here in south Louisiana we use bamboo
That's what we use up here in South Arkansas too. So, I'm really curious about these fiberglass poles....
Years ago all I knew to use were switch cane until I saw a video using fiberglass poles. However, I got a feeling you will see us using switch cane or bamboo again soon.
Fiberglass poles are legit but my next ones will probably be half inch.
Great idea thanks 😮
Thanks, appreciate it!!
What are your dingy poles made from ??
That's a feast!
Yes sir!!
My dad always called them branch goggle eye. Laughed when you said that it’s not what they’re called. I’ve always wondered what the real name is. My dad kind of had his own vocabulary. Lol
I think all our Dad's did. It was Branch slicks for us. Wasn't actually till a couple years ago I actually knew they were green sunfish🤣
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638
I understood the older generation language a lot better than all the jibber jabber that’s blabbing all the time today !!
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638
You take the guys we’re referring to, well at least my dad I’ll say. Don’t know anything about education levels of other folks but my dad quit school in the fifth grade. Said he went long enough to add and subtract so nobody could rip him off on his paycheck. But that man was the smartest uneducated man I ever knew.
Think they get it from the video games🤣
@kennethvaughan8195 They learned more cause they did more!!
Me and the kids watching together. When my son saw cooters he yelled “hey dad, that’s where we get our traps and cheese!”
They really fixed the place up nice!!
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638just finished the video. Saw you were “in Alabama” if ya know what I mean…. Glad to see I’m not the only one to camp there. Wasn’t sure if the legalities of camping in Alabama
@brandonbrown1984 Wish they'd fix it up a bit
I wish I had some fresh flathead catfish. I'm from Leesville Louisiana
I replied, but had to make a correction. Read location wrong. You should have some good flatheads near your location id think
Nice. Little trip. Y'all got a mess.
Yes sir!! Thanks for checking in!!
Putting out limb lines and poles in ground kinda takes all the fun out of actually fishing don’t ya think ? 💭 Casting rods and actually setting hook much more fun. Also catch and release is a good thing if you want to see big fish in area.
Honestly it boils down to culture and upbringing. Not knocking one thing or another, but to say one thing is better than another, that's just not accurate. Who cares what another guy or gal enjoys, let them be. We actually do it all, and do release fish as well, but if you watch our videos, you'll see quick we do a lot of catch and grease!!! It's the way I grew up. I've fished mostly the same waters my whole life and I'm yet to see any reduction in population whatsoever. If anything, more fish, because we're loosing our outdoorsmen and women to TV and Video games. That said, Please, just take someone new fishing, introduce them to the outdoors, and when you see someone doing it a different way, don't tell them he's doing it wrong. Tell them he just probably grew up doing that and probably enjoys it as much as I do catching fish on a pole. It's kinda like Christmas, ya never know what's under the next tree!!! Sounds like fun to me
❤❤❤
Thanks!!
Where bouts yall at in north Louisianaare yall close to Toledo bend if so go to A1 camp sight launch your boat and about a quarter of a mile to the right put some trot lines out on that flat and bait it with big brim and I can guarantee you’ll land a monster my dad and I used to fish that spot when I was a kid and we caught them from 30 to 102
Sounds fun to me. Were couple hours from there. We North of Monroe. Thanks for the tip though!!
Danielle had a large coffee while yall was at cooters😂
Probably so, lol
Hello sir I was looking through your videos and can't find one on making diddy poles i was wondering if you have a video on making diddy Poles. Thank you, sir. I God bless you and your family .I love the videos. Keep up the great work
We don't have a video out yet, but planning on it in an upcoming video, so stay tuned. Thanks for your comment and God bless.
@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 I'll be looking bout for it sir thank you vary much
That is a SlickJim perch here in East Texas.
We always called em slick perch, but I never heard em called Slick Jim
Where did you get your bank poles from and do you think pvc pipe would work?
Thanks again for another awesome video I really enjoyed it and as always I'm really looking forward to seeing the next video
I got 4 ft 3/8 tree stakes from tractor supply and spliced them with tubing. Made mine. PVC will work. Guys catch 30-45 lbers on 3/4 PVC. I imagine we will do a video later on building some and fishing different types
Bullheads are Flathead candy
I just commented on this a few days ago. I think I want to make a trip and only use Mudcats. Never done that before. Maybe a video, like " Do Mud Cats really Catch Opps??"
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 I think sunfish come in a close second place. I got my PB on the first time ever using bullhead a few weeks back. It was 36 pounds. Unfortunately, we do not have blue cats where I am. It is just channel and flathead.
@hawkwrangler1950 Gotcha. Yeah, those Red Ear Sunfish are hardy, and flattys love em
What a feast. Good stuff.
Did you catch many on the goldfish?
Thanks. A blue cat won't turn a goldfish. The advantage of the goldfish is when all your other bait is dead he's still kicking 😀
I bet that's Bradley's homemade sausage, how much yall wanna bet?
You mean others make sausage??? 🤣
Would a rubber mallet not help knock the rods in? In Vermont i use one to knock in my fiberglass driveway stakes yearly to prepare for snowplowing. Cheers folks
Yes it will if the rods have enough spine to them. Mine are 3/8" 8 ft long. I think I'ma make some bigger ones and I'll probably get a mallet at that time
Them green sunfish are the best catfish bait they are
Yes sir. A lot of people don't realize that, so I wanted to make sure to include it. Thanks for watching.
Green sunfish. We call em “greenies” up here in MO.
Them Flatheads love em!!
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 My fav flat bait!
@dennypitman5272 I definitely understand that. Mine too!!
I wanta go ditty pole fishing-what kind of headlamp do you use
I got bunch different kinds. Any led lamp is good. I kinda like those cheap cyclops ones
Hello - Hey the sausage I seen you make on dat lousiana life do you guys sell and ship that stuff?
No, we don't sell sausage but we do have videos on how to make it.
❤😮🎉😂 great job and vibes respect from 205 pisces black alpha male Birmingham Alabama home of the Civil rights moment
Always good to see you on here. Roll Tide
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 my people I'm watching roll tide roll heat damn yall remember me love the vibes truly appreciate my people
What are your poles made of?
Fiberglass tree stakes
Man I’m in Monroe we need to link up and go fishing
Probably passed each other on the water at some point and didn't even know it. Thanks for watching, always appreciate the locals
What kinda pole are y’all using for the bank poles?
Those are 3/8" fiberglass tree stakes, but I'll get half in next go round
What did you make your door out of on your camper
Square tubing frame plywood on the outside, and covered in thin sheet metal siding
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 Thank you I'm try to build one
We piano hinged the top and used a fire hose for the water guard at the top. The door latch and assist cylinders came off Amazon.
Where can you purchase the Diddy poles?
You can Google search them and find them already made up, or you can make your own. We're probably going to do some videos on making them by before too long
What river is that around there?
Ouachita River
How many poles are you allowed?
50 per person in Louisiana
Has she been drinkin'? Or just having a good time?
Well, she might have slipped one and I didn't know it 🤣🤣🤣
Whats a gogula??😅
I'm lost on this question. I must have missed it, even in editing🤣🤷
Oh, Goggle Eye. That's a warmouth. Google them. Fun to catch bream with a huge mouth. They really aggressive and taste good too
You got your first mate with you today.
🤣 a good mate at that
they always say 'going off grid', but they all seem to own trucks and boats and property. so what are they doing, robbing banks? maybe someone needs to properly define 'going off grid'.
Going off-grid literally means going off utilities. If your camping or living off grid your not hooked up to Electricity or running water. We camped in this video and didn't have electrical or water hookups. It's Off- Grid
So I wonder...on which planet do you go "ON GRID" to set bank lines and poles? Really? Hummmm....Maybe that's why Aliens (from other planets) don't stop here.
There are plenty places you can set poles and camp or sleep on grid. Now there ya go tryin make us look dumb, lol. It's an off grid camper, and we were running lines, so what's really the problem anyway? That's literally what the title says. There's always one of you guys for every video. You guys don't even look at our videos to see how much we try to help people, then you guys try to jump in the comments with insults. 20k views one neg comment. I'll take it, God Bless ya anyways
@@godscountryhuntingfishing1638 Okay....if you insist. God bless ya anyways....
