I wish we had another MG game with the octo-camo because no game in history has done game mechanics like that since…such a fun game when you can literally blend into the environment like that lol
This is one of those things about the metal gear series I could never explain to my friends, but now Im getting the gist of it in a more consistent form than with the in-game lore, I'm so glad you spent your time to put this together!
None of my friends care for the metal gear series.. so I have to go online and discuss things like this with strangers to get that nerdy fix. I'm so glad the metal gear community is so passionate about it like I am. The first metal gear solid came out when I was 6 and I've been obsessed ever since. I've played every game to carry the metal gear name except the gambling machine... and while I dislike some, like most, and have beat all...two things have always bothered me: 1. I wish solid snake would return as the protagonist. I like big boss, but solid snake is my favorite. And 2. I wish mgs2 got more love. It's weird, and while I initially was disappointed snake wasn't the player character through most of it, I did like Raiden (gasp. I know). I think a modern remake would be gorgeous. They could even add segments where you play as solid snake as plisken during the big shell when he is off doing his thing to flesh it out even more. Just my opinion and wish. I love mgs1, but I don't personally need another trip to shadow Moses Island. Metal gear 1 and 2 with modern game play would be great, mgs2 remake would be nice... and even a remake of mgs4 would be great. BTW, if you ever play metal gear solid mobile, the one made for pre-smart phones, be wary. It's decent and impressive for an ngage game... but it's disappointing to no fault of it's own. It's set between 1 and 2. The Gameboy color metal gear, mgs ghost babel, is actually a decent successor to metal gear 1 and 2, and a passable alternate timeline.
I'm honestly amazed that everyone in the Metal Gear series isn't a cyborg ninja I mean let's be honest if you could become a cyborg ninja you'd do so in a heartbeat
I'm surprised they didn't talk about Raging Raven and Crying Wolf. All of the B&B Corps are said to have suits that they can't operate too long out of. And Crying Wolf is literally in a robot dog suit
Hey, why don’t you do a (death from darksiders 2 vs kratos?) You could say that is a mismatch but if you look at the feats of death, like beating samael, a true demon capable of traveling in uncountable speeds, is quite crazy! Let me know what you think Love your videos bro , full of details
While metal gear rising had some fun game play with the cutting mechanics, I don't consider it canonical. I pre-ordered the game when it was still named "metal gear solid rising", which was going to show how Raiden became a cyborg. When they totally scrapped that idea and turned it into the final product, I knew it would be as Canon as the ac!d games, which I did enjoy... but consider them separate timelines.. I would've loved to see Raiden infiltrate area 51 to rescue sunny, save her, but either get captured or trade himself for her freedom and get experimented on and forced to continue to be a pawn of the patriots for a while.
He doesn't really fall under the same umbrella. He was wore a "flex armor" suit which isn't really elaborated to be something unto an exoskeleton or cybernetics, as well as using drugs to amp himself: mgsdb.com/en/enc/6
Would it be possible for someone like raiden to exist in real life? Cuz if so would it be difficult for him or whoever that person is to live a normal life? And would they be able to join the military? or any special force?
The craziest thing about the Metal Gear series is that most people consider it to be this deep and profound game series when in fact most of it's narrative was completely by mistake
@@alexrehak5564 The same reason Captain America or Batman can fight Cyborgs or amped humans: it's fiction. A "normal human" (a genetically modified human cloned from an irradiated super soldier) can be able to beat a cyborg in hand-to-hand if that's what's written.
@@CRISIS_COMICSplus, you have to think of the context. The first time, Gray Fox wasn't a cyborg yet. The second time at Shadow Moses, Gray Fox was hit by a wave of pain from his nerves, and left
It’s finally all making since you to those mechanical things from MGS4 those soldiers who sound like girls screaming and groaning when they get hit and die lol…in those black suits…
The Rising Premium guide states that he and his heart are strictly human, serving as a contrast to the cyborg Raiden. Armstrong would more likely fit in the History of Nanomachines: twitter.com/LordEmmerich/status/1311378863709093889?s=19
Can we just stop and say something, metal gear Ray's or GRADS and Geckos are practically useless now. Let's be straight here if raidens older gen body had barely enough power to Fucking THROW A METAL GEAR RAY then what's stopping someone from gearing a team up like dead cell or the winds of destruction, but with similar gear to raiden. Unstoppable, but Ray's would be considered outdated compared to the final boss metal gear.
Plus the EXCELSUS is far more advanced than the REX and RAY and will probably be mass produced and replace them who knows maybe in the future the cyborgs and exoskeletons than will make raidens custom cyborg body and Sams ExoSuit look primitive
Wonderful how in the MGS universe they had technologies that are considered cutting edge in 2021 way back in the 70's.
they had wormhole teleporters way back in the 1930s - 1950s
@@Vexxel256 they had weapons that can launch nukes from anywhere. No modern missile can do that
Cyborgs in MGS: a rare type of character that almost never shows up
Cyborgs in MGR: FKCING EVERYWHERE!
Gray Fox is what got my attention when I first played MGS. Love the content.
Wake up babe, CRISIS uploaded a new Metal Gear video
I'm always glad whenever I find some chill TH-cam videos on games like this. A history lesson I'm actually interested in!
I would definitely enjoy an evolution of sneaking suits breakdown similar to this!

The Haven Troopers look so damn cool.
Perfect video!

You mean "a curious yet perfect?"
The algorithm is blessing this channel
I'm feelin' it
Awesome video man!
Incredible work
Refering to MG Rising as one of the MAIN titles of the series is criminal.
I would love to see some more lore videos.
This feels like the next logical alternative to robot masters, or reploids in mega man x before they eventually become one with humanity in legends.
great vid dude, Gray Fox = top tier clickbait
Great video!
please do a lore videos on the metal gear mechs themselves please
I'm honestly amazed that everyone in the Metal Gear series isn't a cyborg ninja I mean let's be honest if you could become a cyborg ninja you'd do so in a heartbeat
Can't wait
Cool video. You got a sub
Great content
The perfect video brother. Can you do a how powerful is vamp? And the skulls parasite unit? i feel like we're missing that.
Venom got plot armor
Can you do history of metal gears next?
Excellent video I would love to see more lore videos about Metal Gear or anything you've covered so far
I'm surprised they didn't talk about Raging Raven and Crying Wolf. All of the B&B Corps are said to have suits that they can't operate too long out of. And Crying Wolf is literally in a robot dog suit
Grey fox design was by far the best
Have you thought on doing a "How strong is eugene sims" from infamous second son?

Please please please please do a Raiden vs Cole Macgrath. That would be a fun match up.
Gotta respect the people who use the TH-cam audio library. Awful- Josh Pan i really like that track

What makes me sad is all this awesome information is going to be lost because Konami sucks. Thanks for these videos! Keeps the series alive

Need mgs haven frog lore
You should do a video about the merchandise of mgs. Like the mgs4 Bluetooth headset and other things

Hey crisis If they had equal stats who would win Raiden or Gray Fox in a sword fight
Raiden should be more skilled via scaling to Solidus, a master of two-handed sword fighting.
Definitely raiden
How strong is Quiet video???
what's the song playin int the back, at the start?
"Dude" by Patrick Patrikios
Does anyone know how did David defeat Grey Fox?
By beating him up
