Probably a long shot here. But are You able to locate a part # for that Cat Converter Flange?? That is the exact same thing I need to repair the exhaust on my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT
Nice little truck Pete. I use to have a small Nissan King cab that lasted me for years until the trany gave out. Too expensive to fix. Always nice when you can make the repairs yourself. Take Care Pete
Hi Pete, I am wondering for that adapter part, do you still have the name of that thing? I am in the same situation and couldn’t find that part. Also, do you think a clamp would work for that part? As I don’t have welding machine and never welded before m. Thanks! Nice video, very informative and straightforward!
Have to cut of the mount pin? I was looking how to do this... Ford is dumb with there parts. Thanks for the video though. I could not understand how to remove this pin. Know I know . 👍🏼
I live in Canada and we put salt on the roads to melt the ice in the winter and a really rusts the cars out. The rest of Canada puts sand so the cars in some parts Canada are pretty good but where I live they put salt on the roads. Have a good one man
Nice work Pete, you've the exhaust in top shape.

Very poor steel if it's this rusty after 20 years is Ford/Mazda always this bad? In Europe we mainly have euro brands and Toyota less rusty for sure.

Your truck is not going to become a ground while welding, the truck isn't grounded.
You can’t weld if the ground isn’t on the fact it welded at all means it was grounded. Thanks for watching
