Hi do you not torque the wheel bearing down? reason i ask is i have had 2 front wheel bearings fail, i dont know what is causing it, i have changed the driveshaft im thinking maybe wrong cv joint would this cause the bearing to fail? also do u not tighten the bearing with wheel on ground? or is there no need on this car. thank you

Not bad but important small things are not shown or just bad (e. g. do not mount the brake rotors with the small screws until the axle nut is tightened)…

Good video! What are the signs of a bad wheel bearing and is there a test I can do without having a lot of tools?

You will hear a humming noise which will get louder as it wears more. As you corner the noise increases as the load changes. Jack the vehicle up and spin the wheel...then touch the suspension spring with your finger...you will feel a vibration through the spring if the bearing is worn.

I recently did my Citroen C4 which shares the same suspension, brake and steering components, as your 307. Did you end up replacing the transmission oil that leaked out? I also had leaks but I'm thinking if I should replace it, I maybe loss 100ml-200ml of oil approximately

Strut bolts are the wrong way round... should go in from the front of car

Can this be done by keeping the oil in gearbox? I noticed slight shaft movments make it leak, and gearbox is sealed for life unit on my 3008

It can be drained if necessary and refilled through the breather.
