Tools are mentioned near the begining... a breaker bar or impact gun is absolutely needed as would be access to a big hydaulic press or someone who can use one for you.
Torque settings specific to Peugeot 306;
Caliper bolts 110nm
Ball joint pinch bolt 45nm
Hub pinch bolt 55nm
track rod end securing nut 35nm
Hub bolt; M20 265nm and M24 320nm !!!!!

@@terrysookhoo2528 in which direction?? Toe in, out? Camber negative or positive? There's 360° X2 sides of possible pointing!
With the CV boot. Why not clean it with brake cleaner inject a bit of cv grease into the hole using a syringe and then super glue the hole. Or use neoprene which is what divers use to repair diving suits but is the same material as cv boots.
So I spend 5-10minutes repairing a very worn out old CV boot .. I'll need a syringe and some glue, maybe neoprene... £5 worth of material?..... Or ... And hear me out ...
Fit a new boot for £5. And not have to worry if the repair has worked or not or if the rest of the boot has torn and is flinging loads of fresh CV grease all over my brakes and inner wheel 🤪🤣
My dad tried to give me shit about doing this job with out a fucking press, i was like, fuck that, we need a press, a vice isnt going to cut the fuckin deal! he had put in metro bearings in, and i ended up having to get those changed, due to them been fucked. So was i hell going to go through that again, got a garage to do the shaft and wheel bearing at the same time. I supplied the parts. £ 90 quid all in, that was him doing the job, supplying a new ABS sensor and gear box oil and seal, and using my parts i supplied.
Yeah not bad! 🐷👌
I still can't believe the lemon is going/gone. How much do you need to be paid to keep it?😂
It's running costs really. Seemed silly to pay to keep it on the road for the use of it maybe once every two months.
