I gave up with spreadsheet quite a few years ago. We are using cleaner planner at the moment which has been a game changer for me. You should take a look.
Really interesting to see the system you use for organising customers. Not much other information on this out there so this video is handy! I love spreadsheets :)
Great vids - how do you get around a new client wanting their windows done part way through a round. E.g. if you've got a round on example street and that you do at the end of every month and they call start of the month wanting to join round do you join them and clean at the end of month with everyone else? Or clean when they want it then join them with everyone else to make it more efficient for you? Hope that makes sense !
CMW CMW This is up to date. I’m not currently using any additional apps or software. I work from the spreadsheets and I can access them from my phone when I am out if I need to, but mostly I just print them from my computer.😃👍🏼
Very helpful andy ,,, thanks ! A question slightly off topic,,, would you advise getting a separate phone and number for a window cleaning business? The trade involves many more regular contacts than most, and so this could ‘clog up’ a personal phone , especially if you text customers before each visit. Your thoughts please
Yeah, I usually try to arrange not to text customers every time, it just creates an extra task for me. All customers know that I will turn up regularly and there is just the odd one here and there that I text to make sure the gate is open.👍🏼
Work on a 4 day week, that will allow for bank hol, breaks, etc. I’m sure you will always fill up the odd spare day if you wanted to. www.aemackintosh-onlinetraining.com
Do you have to message/call many of your regular customers the night before? (is there a way of getting out of this, to have the flexibility to just turn up when you want to)
No, I try to avoid that kind of thing as much as possible. It’s good to try and establish how these things with the customer when you first start the job, others they get into bad habits.😃👍🏼
Mate your videos are so helpful! Thanks for taking the time much appreciated 👊🏼
Perry benton Thanks. Glad you find them helpful.😃👍🏼
I use spread sheets... Road...Number...Name Customers.. how often ...Price...date done... all in columns works a treat.
The Councellor Nice and easy.😃👍🏼
