    Good advice for people. I have recently switched to wfp after 22 years trad. Increased all my prices by a minimum of £5 and everyone has been happy to pay it. After cleaning peoples windows for so long they soon trust you and willing to pay the going rate.

    Hardest part is pricing when starting up. You think jesus i can't charge £20 an hour nevermind £30 an hour , im just a window cleaner. Once you get that out your head then you'll succeed. Offer a a really good service , be polite and take pride in your work and people are happy to pay .

    I been doing this 15 years
    Offering more than many and most window cleaning companies do
    I charge an hourly rate .. based on what I can clean or get done with my regular work for the time a new clean will take !
    Plus All my works done traditionally with no need for a reach and wash system to be used on ground or first floor !!

    • @Darren-Green
      @Darren-Green  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok, sounds good, but I am just not sure what your point is? Could you elaborate for me?

    • @OBEEGAINZ
      @OBEEGAINZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Darren-Green each to there own , if you get the same result out of a reach and wash clean as you would traditional then hands up fair play
      my point was I don’t personally think skilled & professional old school window cleaners need to use a reach & wash system on ground of first floor !
      That was all

    • @Darren-Green
      @Darren-Green  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see what you're saying. It's like any tool the more you practice with it the more efficient you become Think of all those downstairs where the tops of the frames are just out of reach and you need a step or beer crate to stand on... Sure makes those easier. Any experienced trad cleaner can make short work of the downstairs, and likewise so can any experienced wfp cleaner. It's horses for courses mate but also remember a lot rides on how your WFP system is set up to start with.

    • @OBEEGAINZ
      @OBEEGAINZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So no offence ! I understand we ain’t all 6ft sumin 🤣! Makes it a pain in the arse for us as we can’t bloody reach things like others can 🤣! If a systems needed for unreachable windows that can’t be accessed from a point or ladder or inside & out then yeah use a system ! It was a personal opinion anything I can reach with a point or poll by hand I’d prefer
      I wouldn’t tell anyone what to do ...whatever method you choose as long as you get the same outcome then it’s sweet as a nut !

    Really good advice! Confidence in your job and what you deserve for it is the same mindset for a window cleaner right to a CEO of a multi million pound company. Something that really interested me is the direct debit that only takes money once you “press the button”... what do you use for this? An app/PayPal?
