I thought you might look at this nice 1949 Ford F3 Pick-up, from Country Classic Cars in Staunton, IL. It's still powered by the original Flathead V8, backed by a manual trans. It has the heavy duty 8 Lug wheels...in this case, a set of American Racing Chrome wheels. The interior looks great, with a newly upholstered seat, new headliner, original gauges, etc. This truck has been really well maintained and is ready to go. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

You have to love the first generation f series. Me and my father rebuilt a 49 completely original when I was growing up. The thing still runs like a champ.
What a great parade piece! I was born in 1949. I remember as a kid growing up, seeing these pickups around our town. Alot of factory workers around here also had beef and milk cattle farms. They would bring their full milk jugs to the Carnation plant on the way to work at the furniture and textile factories. Thanks for the memories.
Glad it brought back some good memories for you. Thanks for taking a look!
My dad had a 49 F1 in red. I never drove it but my Uncle his brother had a 51 F1 that was much the same and we had a 49 F6 that I drove many miles and hauled a lot of Tobacco, Peanuts, and Corn (and logs). They were good trucks but needed complete overhaul after about 60 to 70 thousand miles. The F6 would work hard pulling a full load out of the field . . . and then up and down hill to market.
Love it !! I learned to drive in one that was Green !! Always wanted one to keep.
Very nice 👍.
I love pick ups, thank you for the video.
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
Nice truck. Good collection congratulations and blessings ❤😂.
Ive always wanted a f3
Cool looking pick-up! :)
Very Nice!
Great Color!
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
really like that one Jeff.. we used to use bicycle inner tubes to cover those chains. lol I like that they used a more plain cut of wood for the bed.. it matches the truck a lot better than some shinny birds eye maple. haha..
Really sweet surviver in nice color.
Still amazes me how you know all the details Jeff !
Glad you like it Jos. Thanks for watching my friend!
She's a Cream puff! id love to build a 1951-1952 F-2 3/4 Ton with a 292 Y Block 1957 Circa backed up with a 4 speed and a Dana 70 Rear end with 3:73 gears or 4:10's.
Have a Sweet towing Rig. Sweet Video man thanks for sharing! love that Peeckup!
Very beautiful truck. I love the Ford print color on the tailgate as well as the entirety of the grill / front end. The running boards and wood in the bed definitely aren't showy which gives the truck a little more of a utility feel.
I'm glad you like it. Thanks for having a look!
Very nice. I have a Red "50" F-1
I would love to have it !!!
I really like it too. Thanks for checking it out!
I had a '52 F3 with the flathead V8 and a 4speed manual.
nice
Thanks for watching!

I always liked that series truck, just as much as the late 50's style!! What is the hole in the bottom of the grill!! Looks kinda small for a crank start!!☺
That really was still a hole for the crank start.
That really was still a hole for the crank start
looks kind of like yours...cool truck
Yep, it's pretty similar. I like how original this one is though. It would be a fun truck to have.
Wow. Amazing how much room is in that engine bay. I could almost climb inside the thing. These new cars...psshh...you can barely put your hand anywhere. I might get one of these trucks one of these days.
Yeah, there definitely is plenty of room in there. Thanks for having a look!
Oh yeah. Not too many F3s didn't see farm duty. This old girl is lucky.
Yeah, usually they're a little more beat up. I really like this one.
Nice truck! Do you have anything on the Chevy beside it?
I haven't looked at that Chevy yet, but I might check it out next time. I'm sure they have some pics on their website at CountryClassicCars. Thanks for watching, appreciate it!
I have my Granddad's 1949 Ford F3 pickup with a flathead 239 V8 that I put into it. Since I was run over by a car while I was walking across the street, I haven't done anything with it. I need to redo the electrical system, so any thoughts on converting it over to a 12 volt system would be appreciated. Thanks. Court.
We had one of those with a 292 V8. Don't know what year the engine was.
do you think it would still be available for sale? thanks Tj
it's a nice truck but it'd look better in purple and white :P
I think the purple and white one might look better in red and black :)
I had a '50 F1 when I was 18...mine was rough compared to this one..
Hello, Is this truck still available.
3 or 4 speed?
the year when my dad's mom was born
How much ?
Original six volt battery - no conversion.
