My brother acquired this 1949 F-6 Ford farm truck a few years ago from a local guy. It had been repainted and tuned up. We use it in parades, shows, and various odd jobs around the farm. #ford #truck #farming
Pretty truck! Thanks for sharing. Only a small comment: I guess one cylinder is not firing. This engines use to have a smooter sound. It could be a spark plug. Sorry to mantion that, man, I really like the video. Best regards from Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil.
Beautiful Country! 🙂. Is that a barn, with a tin roof? What's the advantage of a tin roof? I'm broke right now, but hopefully if you're selling it, you do find a buyer. Otherwaise, I'll look for your truck, at the next auto show, out there. If its in or near OHIO.!🙂.
Transmission not shifting well?? I think you need more practice at Double D Clutching - That is Clutch down from Gear To Neutral then clutch again from Neutral to the next Higher Gear. IN changing down its gear to Neutral then- Accelerate your engine RPM to the gearbox RPM then change to the next gear down. IT DOES TAKE A BIT OF PRACTICE
Brings back memories. My Grandpa had a 1949 F-5. 3 Speed, 6 Cylinder, I believe.
Had a 51 F250 when I was kid. This brings back a lot of memories from all those many years ago. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, Grangeville. Sweet Pickup!
Nice old Ford truck👍👍
Wat a great looking truck nice classic lines sound great ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
just bought a '48 F6. I'm not sure where to start. I am looking forward to driving her one of these days.
Start with one bolt and move to the next. It's hard to know where to start but it's east once you do.
The F6 was considered a 2 Ton. The F5 was a 1 1/2 ton.
(F1=1/2 ton, F2=3/4 ton, F3= 1 ton, F4= 1 1/2 ton (1 3/4 ton Option). F6 = 2 ton

Good and perfect truck congratulations.
Thank you, we really enjoy it!
With the f4-f8 you have to double clutch.
It will eliminate the grinding.
