The ocarina of time iceberg(not the image if that exists, but just the collection of myths, trivia, etc. itself) is the most rediculous thing honestly. from stuff like "do this many things to get the master boomerang" to creepypastas about how you can somehow kill epona to get a shadowhorse.

The hill is a practical vantage point from which King Bob-Omb, as a commander, can best do his job.

I'm a little confused about that comment explaining Wet-Dry World, because it still establishes nothing about it being a brain; he just says it is and that you're stimulating it. But what are they getting at about it BEING a brain? What is it DOING when you stimulate it? Are they implying it's the brain of the personalization AI? (I'm genuinely curious, not trying to criticize all the lore and whatnot they've written up)
And honestly, when you asked us to think about Mario running around, I just pictured him going in circles around the flower patches of Bob-omb Battlefield, no pit anywhere; even if I were to consider it differently, I'd probably just imagine BLJ movement since I've seen a lot of speedruns lol

It appears to be pulled from the Creepypasta video he linked. It's a fun watch but obviously it's just for the sake of being creepy. The mario walking part is from that video too.
Maybe the level is an evil consciousness(one consciousness global across all copies), and each player makes it grow stronger by stimulating it and playing the level. At this point it can be very strong. And it is aware of you when you play it.

There's a bit more to the 120 thing than just "any number can be spiritual." We tend towards certain numbers because they feel good, and this is often numbers which are heavily divisible. 12 is a famous one, but also 40, 144 and 120.
The number 119 has no spiritual significance, and it would feel wrong for there to be 119 stars in mario 64. The number 100 does have spiritual significance, and it would feel fine for there to be 100 stars in mario 64.
While it is still "just a coincidence" it is kind of interesting that as humans we are drawn to the same numbers again and again. Ascribing them spiritual significance centuries ago, and making design decisions around them today.

Back on the WDW brain topic, I have a couple theories about the purpose of the enemies
in Wet-Dry World.

They could be there to make it seem more like a regular level, they often help traverse the area a bit easier in-game. Not necessarily a part of the brain but it would also seem pretty suspicious if there were no enemies in the level, as if it was hiding something. It'd be too on-the-nose if it was just empty.

They could potentially be manifestations of the thoughts, memories or feelings of the brain. Negative emotion, positive emotion, etc. (we know that other manifestations can appear elsewhere so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch if the enemies were something similar)
. Plus, there are no organisms in that stage. No goombas, koopas, nothing. Just... soulless machines. Is the brain feeling down? Is that why? Who knows.

It could also be a side affect of the personalization, we all expect enemies to be there, so they materialize in the level. Wet Dry World is the most interesting level to me, and uncovering the why's and how's would be a giant leap for uncovering the truth behind Mario 64.

One enemy throws you to a higher platform, which is unreachable normally unless you do perfect parkouring, so you have to be an expert to not use it.
It's a logic leap. You experience a moment of revelation, and look at a new possibility in your mind. An expert would immediately find a connection.

just dropping in to say about the brain diagram thing: some of the levels actually *were* essentially thrown together at the last minute according to some interview with nintendo, which explains the weird structure of levels like wet-dry world and lethal lava land
in addition, one thing i found weird that you didn't address in this video is why the secret aquarium is even on the iceberg image at all. personally, i think it's because of how the course appears to inexplicably be in the sky, relating it in a way to the secret slide dimensional rift
I watched the iceberg video assuming that it was like those "top 10 super spooky rumors about (insert thing here)" you know the ones that have the whisper transition and they have like the lavender town music going in the background to make it extra spooky

when you said "imagine mario running around" in the first video, i thought of the original mario bros. on the nes. a game i (sort of) have never played. i very distinctly thought of it being the nes version and not the gba version (the version that i have played), and the exact imagery was of a speed run. still didnt see him falling in any pits tho...

totally 100% with you on the iceberg suggestions. i don’t care about Half Life or Roblox either but i’d be SOOO HYPED to see a Ocarina of Time video. that game creeps me out more than SM64 does and it’s part of the reason why the SM64 lore was so fascinating, it’s like a ghost haunts every cartridge but somehow Ocarina spooks me more
