Poulan Pro B11 adjustment carb tool, that’s what I need. I’ll check amazon next. I bought a carb kit, came with a brand new carburetor and needs fine tuned, thanks, Dave!

Did you ever find that B11 adjustment carb tool? I'm having some trouble finding it.

czarandom that’s so cool of you to check! I ended up purchasing a Splined brand one. But after replacing the carb, I still can’t get it to run any better. If I get it to run better when it’s running it won’t start and vice versa.

Thanks for posting this video Micah. I needed to know where to start readjusting my carburetor.

People out there don't learn the hard way when you're running nose adjustment screws all the way down as soon as you feel and snug stop they have needle valves in there and if you tighten them down too much you'll smash the needle valves

Btw, mine must be the same vintage, so very applicable to my situation, thanks again, Dave!

You can get a new carburetor ready to bolt up for $15. Also comes with a plug, air filter, fuel filter, and fuel lines.

Helpful video thank you. Some audio problems, a lot of static.

Your vids are great. I had the same issue. I tried replacing the lines but I am not sure I have them right. Does the thinner line get the fuel filter and goes deep into the tank? If that's true then the fatter tubing is the return.
Even with replacing this, I can't get it to stay running.

Robert, use the primer bulb and you can see which way the fuel runs. Make sure it is moving up into the carb from the filter side inside the tank.

Be sure to check the head bolts. If you grab the carb and twist side to side, nothing should move. BTW, mine was not the first one that was. So a mush check. Dang thing still ran with a loose head. Craziness!

Nice Matthew! Yes, I've kept mine running for almost 10 years now!

Where did you find the B11 tool? I've had a hell of a time finding it! Does a Pac Man driver work on this model?

Amazon has them. Search for Poulan Pro or Husqvarna, should be the same. smile.amazon.com/HIPA-Carburetor-Adjustment-Screwdriver-530035560/dp/B00UFFA68G/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=poulan+pro+carb+adjustment&qid=1600606001&sr=8-4

Hi my blower wont start and it start spitting gas in the front and also to the filter. What would be the problem?

    • @MicahMartinDIY

Most likely a cracked or broken fuel line. See my other video for the rebuild kit.

Im totally confused by the gas lines....does the filter go on the bigger outside line and I thought the smaller line was just a return line ....arrrgghhh

    • @MicahMartinDIY

The filter should be inside the fuel tank and should connect to the input side of the carb.

@MicahMartinDIY I guess I should've been more clearer... Looking at the back of the blower. The larger line(on the right) is vent /return. The thinner line(on the left) has the filter correct?

Thank you for posting. But seriously, you show the flow of bubbles. But couldn't simply show a shot of the tubes going from the crab to the tank. To make it simple? My only complaint as still not sure if I have it installed correctly. Also next time dont show how you did it wrong. Show it being done correctly. Audio issues as well. But I do appreciate the video. Hopefully the next one will be even better. Thank you.
