Honestly, the best poulan carb clean video I found. Explains everything you need to know as long as you are somewhat mechanically inclined. Thanks for the video buddy.

Hi Kentucky first off I just want to say you are the only guy who's told people how many turns out on the screws excellent work. My problem is I put a NEW carb on the poulan and its flooding. I got spark but the thing is FN wet. I'm gonna try and clean the old carb and try again. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I've worked on plenty of bike carbs but this thing is kicking my A$$.

Sounds like an adjustment screw too far loosened or the. Piece inside the carb that holds the needle is bent.

@@kentuckyoffgrid Thanks for the quick response! ya I think the needle is messed up on both the old and new carb... well i didnt have any luck with the old carb but it does seem a little dryer now...I did get the new carb to perk once last week just once... I'm gonna go back and see how the needle looks now. Thanks again

Is it bogging down on full throttle? Sounds like the high jet may be off a little bit

A lot of information and no wasted time. I appreciate that you are willing and able to do a lot of tedious work with small parts even with a busted finger to make this video. It's a great video, too. Thanks!

Upper right hand corner of the rag there was a collar with a set screw in it. Where does that go? Mine fell out of the saw and I’m not sure where it came from (if anyone happens to know). Thanks.

I'm not exactly sure which part you are asking about.

Have you tried cleaning the carburetor? Also make sure the adjustment screws are set right.

Do you have resistance when pulling the rope or does it pull really easy?

@@kentuckyoffgrid like I don't even know what kind of pulling sod is dude I literally cannot find the make or the model of it anywhere online and it definitely doesn't look like a poulan pro but my dad said it is it's got a 16 inch bar on it it's all black the only thing that says on it is Poland and is the video right there on your channel right

Most of your video is off camera and the background noise is a takeaway not to mention the dirty shop rag you’re using in the video

Thanks for the feedback, it's old footage from around the time I first started my channel so not the greatest. A lot of those old shop towels are stained but actually been washed and clean believe it or not lol.
