Great video. Very helpful. Just remember to use a bungie cord, zip tie, or safety wire to suspend the caliper while doing the job. Letting it hang by the hose can damage the hose. Otherwise excellent job.
An ideal method for bracing the calipers when using a C-clamp is to take the worn brake pad and utilize that as your flat surface to push them both back . I look at it as the last service the pad can provide to my truck before I return it to the the store for a refund to my purchase. Great video!
Your video was the best that's all I wanted was changing pads nothing else. Good for you thanks If I need help with other things I will look for you first. Thanks again I like direct answers.
You let the caliper just fall and dangle placing tremendous strain on the brake line. You have to tie it up or prop it up to avoid this. Also, clean and lube pins, etc.
Thanks for making the video! I have to change my mom's brakes tomorrow, and I was just checking if there was a special too. I heard the Ford Taurus sho had one, and I was glad to hear 13mm. I appreciate it.
If it's antilock, you need to open the bleed valve when you compress the caliper, or you could damage the ABS system. My 2002 Ranger XL has ABS. Other than that it's the same procedure, though bleeding might also be necessary with or without ABS.

Thank you so much. I was having difficulty with the caliper going back on until I saw your wood clamp technique.

Thanks. I actually did use the old brake pad with c clamp to push back in the piston on another one of my videos. Certainly helps. Thanks again.
Thanks, I showed this to my dog and told him to get on it!
Lol

Giant channel locks and an old brake pad work great for compressing the caliper
Great video. I need to change my brakes.
I put one of the old brake pads on and use a c clamp to push both of the pistons at once
Yes. That works good. Thanks.
I used oil filter pliers

You are correct. Thank you.

Appreciate the video. I'm gonna gets some brakes and a C-clamp this weekend. And save some $$ 😁👍💪

You are correct. I have never done that before and had no problems but you are right. Thanks.
One of the most efficient videos 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Recomment ceramic or semi metallic pad?
I use semi metallic pads. They are usually less expensive and still get the job done.
Good job!
Thank Scoot
Nah I almost crashed my brakes had air or something buddy
Not good. Did you pump them first to make sure they pressurized before you drove it? If not then they need to be bled at the bleeder valve.
Scott Keeley most likely he forgot to pump them that shit happened to me once
My pads were $40.00
Yes. There are different prices. Good, better or best. Organic, semi metallic or Ceramic brake pads.
