I have this same Washer, haven't ever worked on them before but this video helped install the springs. Sadly, Any suggestions on why when it gets to the Final Spin it still beats on the wall an seems like it's going out of control..?

Helpful tip: use the old suspension rod you pulled out, and snake it through the hole to grab the hook of the new suspension rod to make it easier to pull up. Once you reach the top add the clip, hold the new rod to keep it still and pull out the old rod. Made this replacement so easy.

It's funny, I found this video trying to figure out how to use one of those nozzles. I have 2 gas cans in the garage but never figured out how to get gas out of them till now, thanks a bunch!

There is nothing wrong with using a good quality concrete plastic anchor with a screw. Or you can use a lead concrete anchor with a screw. Just make sure to follow directions on packages of the hardware you decide to use.

These things are stupid!! I hate them too. Really prefer the old white/clear flexible nozzles

i switched mine out and the truck ran good but the code came back again a few later then i keep hearing that you have to do a relearn procedure in order for it to work properly

I just bought this one and IT WAS THE WORST!!

This video was the best one that I found and really helped me to complete this repair. I have this exact model of Amana washer. Be sure to measure your existing rods before ordering from either Ebay or Amazon. Don't just go by the part number as there are some 3rd party vendors who use this part number but provide rods that are too long. My machine had rods that were 25.5" long. I connected the two back rods by removing the back panel from the washer before turning it back upright and then connected the two front rods from the top of the machine.

You just saved me. Ran out of gas, finally got a can, and couldnt figure out HOW TO GET THE DANG THING TO WORK. thank you, youre an angel lol

I’m 21 years old and I just tried to pour gas into my weed whacker with this stupid thing and it slipped out of my hand and the shut off broke and I’m now drenched in gas. Guess who’s taking a 1 hour shower to not catch on fire later because of a stupid design flaw.

EXCELLENT ADVISE !! BUT….. If you price the old style on eBay you’re paying thru the nose just for the original Blitz spout (Blitz is out of business). You can “spike” the new spouts with a screw. It works.

if there is a hole you don't remove the bolt all the way just loosen, if there is a slash you remove the bolt, dodge does this too. I makes it easier to then hang the motor in while you work on the regulator
