Hello, I have that same washing machine. I ask you what size you bought them because I listed the model and the ones I get on Amazon are either bigger or smaller. The one I removed from my Amana washing machine is 25.5"

Like most videos showing this, never showed the rod coming out of the bottom or going into the bottom slot. Does it go in straight? Does it take some maneuvering to get it in there?

Thank you. I pulled one of mine out of the wall this morning. It fell to the tile floor and shattered. I hope Home Depot or Lowes sell them and I find a color match. I thought I might have to remove the other one and repair drywall, get texture and paint. You gave me hope. Other youtubers talked about how outdated the ceramic barholder is. I think it looks good, ( fixed, that is), but of course, thí ỏiginal idea is a goofy, unnecessary process just to hang a towel bar on the wall. But we have it! 🙂👍

Hallelujah! I sure wish I had an old nozzle to switch out. But for the moment I have to make do. I've even used it before and couldn't remember how to make the dang thing work. You're video is a life-saver in a killer-frustrating moment. Life has enough complications without needing to be a rocket scientist to pour some dang gas into my car. Heavens. If the rods are not clipped in to the bottom part of the plastic piece, will they cause the drum to still bang against the sides of the washer?

Like all the others, I found this really helpful. My only surprise was how much higher the tub sat in the machine after replacing the springs. Clearly the old ones were really shot. The machine is now practically silent. Thank you, Scott!

Helpful tip: use the old suspension rod you pulled out, and snake it through the hole to grab the hook of the new suspension rod to make it easier to pull up. Once you reach the top add the clip, hold the new rod to keep it still and pull out the old rod. Made this replacement so easy.

It's funny, I found this video trying to figure out how to use one of those nozzles. I have 2 gas cans in the garage but never figured out how to get gas out of them till now, thanks a bunch!

There is nothing wrong with using a good quality concrete plastic anchor with a screw. Or you can use a lead concrete anchor with a screw. Just make sure to follow directions on packages of the hardware you decide to use.

These things are stupid!! I hate them too. Really prefer the old white/clear flexible nozzles

i switched mine out and the truck ran good but the code came back again a few later then i keep hearing that you have to do a relearn procedure in order for it to work properly

I just bought this one and IT WAS THE WORST!!

This video was the best one that I found and really helped me to complete this repair. I have this exact model of Amana washer. Be sure to measure your existing rods before ordering from either Ebay or Amazon. Don't just go by the part number as there are some 3rd party vendors who use this part number but provide rods that are too long. My machine had rods that were 25.5" long. I connected the two back rods by removing the back panel from the washer before turning it back upright and then connected the two front rods from the top of the machine.

You just saved me. Ran out of gas, finally got a can, and couldnt figure out HOW TO GET THE DANG THING TO WORK. thank you, youre an angel lol
