Peace be unto you Father Andrew and to the brothers and sisters who are watching your channel. Having been drawn to Orthodoxy as a Catechumen for one year, I have many thoughts and questions as I am still learning about it and of late I have been having a query as to whether the Bible is the Word of God. So lo and behold what you have expounded on in this video must be how God is helping me find my answers. There are so many takeaways in this segment about Orthodoxy. My biggest takeaway is that the Gospels are experiential as you stated. The best example would be how Christ exemplifies that. From the old testament God decreed the Ten Commandments and in the New Testament Christ not only taught the commandments as a way of life but He lived it as shown in all that he did. For indeed our Lord and God and Savior said “I am the way,the truth and the life”.

I remember the first time I started reading the scriptures at 13…I started to weep. It was Godly sorrow of my own sins that brought repentance. Ever since that day I have been drawn to His word and understanding it more deeply…as well as wanting to keep His commands and help others and teach others to do so. All Because of His love! Hallelujah!
It’s so beautiful how the men that were Jesus’ own apostles and disciples sinned but were still called by Christ and used by Him. What ethereal love! No other love like this. God is good and his laws and statutes are beautiful! All glory be to Christ our King unto the ages of ages!🙏🏼☦️
