“ in a world full of Instagram baddies, wear your natural hair “ that was the video that inspired me to start wearing my hair out unapologetically. I love it here
Daily washing works great for us natural swimmers. I was struggling there for a minute before I found your channel and it has been a game changer. Thanks!!
Love the winter wash & go routine! Your tips on daily washing in colder weather were super helpful-your hair always looks so healthy and defined. Thanks for sharing!
Your hair is really taking off with this frequent washing!🙌🏾 I'm still doing it myself and I love it as well. Funny you talked about using a bonnet dryer daily because i JUST started to blow dry my hair after every wash too. I do a rough dry on low and then cool shot and I'm good. I wash my hair before bed and don't want to sleep with wet hair. Somehow my hair is even softer after blow drying than air drying. My hair was never this nice after blow drying when I washed weekly. Please keep the updates coming. The few other frequent washers who were on here seemed to have dropped off and no longer post. So you're all we have here with the current tea on daily hair washing.😊
oh wow that’s a good observation of how your hair reacts to air drying vs blow drying - I will absolutely keep the updates coming. I am excited for my one year update by the end of January 2025 ☺️
I love to see more daily washers posting. Im not as careful as you are with the heat im thoroughly enjoying my haircut so that just means roundbrush blowouts everywash. You have tempted me to blowdry it curly but my undercut still looks a bit wonky that way but in the future i can see myself doing that more. My hair seems to be holding up to all the abuse ive had 2 trims and the hairdresser only took off the smallest bit, my ends are not trashed like they've been in past years with no heat. Which im still surprised by. Ive been loving Pantene (10 in 1 leave in is a dream) and Dove especially the scalp therapy line(the scrub and scalp serum are wonderful).
@@애봉-q1g I literally walked past the Dove line recently and it peaked my curiosity! 👀 I might just add that to the running wishlist. Happy your round brush blowouts are coming out great! I love how my hair looks with heat too. I just need to perfect doing it myself at home. I’m a lil’ rusty 😅
Please don't do that. I used to go right from swimming to work and if it's cold enough, your wet hair WILL freeze, making it brittle and breakage prone. 😢
I also wash daily since 3 months ago and leave my house with semi wet hair. My hair air dries quickly and if not it will dry in the car with the heater on on my 1h daily morning commute.
Thakn you for your helpful video. I immediately purchased a dryer bonnet attachment for my hand held. Your hair looks Awesome and healthy. All Teh Best!!
I have to say that when you showed that jar of peanut butter, my first thought was, "someone who's watching is going to take that literally and start using PB on their strands," lol! 😂
You look so pretty, Evie. I can't commit to washing mine every day, but I have been washing it every 4 days, which is much better than once a week. I tried to do wash and go's. However, since I don't wash my hair daily, I get tons of single-strand knots by day 4. This makes me sad because the shrinkage look is my favorite. My hair looks fuller and healthier when it's in a shrunken state but I can't spend one hour detangling my hair lol.
Thank you so much for the compliment! I can understand the single strands after 4 days. Gotta do what’s best for you. That’s another reason why I like washing daily, those knots don’t get a chance to form so much like they used to on me
I don't know where our people got this idea that we get sick with wet hair. I've been wetting my hair in a wash and go for years. And leave my house with wet hair. You will not get sick.
I switched to washing weekly and styling in flat twists or cornrows. I wear satin lined hats outside as soon as the temperature drops to 50⁰. 😂 A wash and go would not work with me taking my hat on and off.
@ I’m not opposed to using heat. Time and appearance are my concerns. I work in the office twice a week and prefer my hair to look neat. Taking a hat on and off multiple times daily (I take several walking breaks outside when I'm in the office) would result in extremely fuzzy and misshapen hair. I purchased my hats from Grace Eleyae.
Even if ppl say that u dont get sick from stepping outside with wet hair i STILL agree with u that we shouldnt do it in winter bc i saw a video of a woman going outside with wet hair and it froze, when she went back inside and combed it her hair begain breaking off 🫣 so i support havung your hair be fully dry b4 stepping outside this season 😅❄️🩷💕
Hi, could you do a length check for us? I notice that your hair has been the same length since I started watching 11 months ago but I also know shrinkage can be crazy, just wondering if your everyday washday routine has a positive effect on length retention?
When I straighten my hair again, sure! This year I cut my hair at least 4 times for style bc I do have a bob haircut. So length retention wasn’t my focus this year, just healthy hair and maintaining a bob when straightened. Nonetheless, I believe daily washing has a positive effect on length retention anyway due to comments from my stylists about my hair when they straighten it!

So the Anthony Dickie Method has helped me Love my natural hair and your hair looks beautiful!😍
Thank God for him. And also thank you so much!
I still wash my hair everyday, if not every other day. I put my mousse on it and go about my business in the winter. Yes i go outside with wet hair.
Good! How cold are your winters?
@EvieAswiti well I leave out the house around 5am and it's been in the 30s when I leave.
how does it feel to have a bulletproof immune system? 🥲🥹

What about sulfate free shampoos for daily washing? Of course I would clarify when needed.
You can use sulfate free! All about preference esp since you switch out a clarifier
Hair still looking great ❤❤❤love it
Thank you love!
What's neat is that SCALP is actually a mnemonic to remember the five different layers that comprise it. 😊
Skin science is so neat!
I find that the blow dryer bonnet attachment traps moisture in for me, so the diffuser attachment is what I use now and it's so much faster.
Oh really? I do love my diffuser attachment as well. I’ll have to switch it up one of these days to compare the drying time. Thanks for sharing!

If my hair was short I would probably wash my hair more often. once to every two weeks works for me.

Wash it at night, that's one way 😁
Do you have a texturizer/perm?
Nope!
She's mentioned that her ends are what some other people call "heat damaged."
Meu cabelo é tão seco tenho medo de lavar tantas vezes,so lavo de 2 a 3 vezes
You’d be surprised it might make your hair more moisturized! I used to have really dry hair too
Your hair doesn’t get damaged being blow dried everyday ? I mean obviously your hair looks great
@@kenm34 Nope! Also thank you!
Water hydrates the hair, it doesn't moisturize it.
No
You're technically not wrong but I think she has a different definition of what 'moisturize' means.
If your hair looks like that without gels or styling, then your curls are very loose. Definitely not 4a. Unless your hair is heat trained of course.
not you being the hair typing police on Christmas Eve! Who turned you into the Grinch? 😆🎄
She could be referring to her natural hair type which is visible at the roots not the ends. It looks good though

You get sick from germs or a spirit of infirmity, what a silly title.
“a spirit of infirmity” is sending me 😆 A haven’t heard that phrase since I ate expired hard candy from an elder lady at church
