You should do this comic book Torpedo. It follows these let's call them skits, as I do not know what they are called. The main character is a villain protagonist named Luca Torelli or Torpedo. Which is slang for a hitman. All this takes place in the 1930s and every one of the story arcs is centered around New York and other locales where Torpedo goes to kill someone. But it has this cartoon art style for the first book mixed with violence, the cynicism commentary by the main protagonist, and the seedy nature of those times. The 2nd book takes place in 1974 and follows him again only much older. But you know the phrase: "You should fear old men in a profession where men die young." As he can still kill you if he wants. Also try Torso next, its really good follows a real life serial killer case. Trust me, you will love it.
