- FIRST LOOK INTERIOR & OPTIONS: The Mustang Dark Horse has been released and it is ready to go up against the Camaro, Challenger and Charger with big V8 performance. We get first shot at the interior and special options on the Dark Horse. Under the hood is a 5.0L V8 now pumping out 500HP & is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or 10-speed automatic transmission. Personally I think they killed it with this one for sure. If I need or wanted one this would be one in the top shelf to think about.

I'm not sure I would trust carbon fiber. How resistant is it to stress cracks? I've seen too many plastic wheel covers break piece by piece, and these are wheels!

Mat! I also had a black '86GT, 6 years of great driving in the Black Hills of SD. Then family happened and I didnt revisit being a Mustang owner again for over 3 decades. Pulled the trigger on a 2023 Mach1 in May 2023. Ya Hoo. I like the mechanicals of the S650 and the specs....but I feel I basically have the similar mechanicals in a better looking package.

Ford really worked hard ion this one.
I'm afraid I'm priced out of the Mustang market, but I dig this psychedelic Mustang! You can blast "Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix while going on throttle, which this pony should do very well! It's almost Valentine's Day, so you could follow Hendrix with "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" by Iron Butterfly.

I wasn't impressed with the S650 exterior, but this one looks really nice. The satin on the front fascia looks like a mask which is weird to me. The color and striping is stellar. Love that shift knob.

I just bought a 2022 GT500 Carbon Fiber Track pack a few months ago, but I'm low key regretting not waiting for this, this looks sweet!
Don't regret it. The gt500 is a better car and will hold it's value way more than this car.

Great presentation, didn't know about the paint vs. vinyl option! That's exciting. Plus seeing those carbon fiber rims up close was good, hopefully the lug nuts are an easy exchange! Thanks again!! If I could swing it that Dark Horse model would be tits to order - prolly do the rear seat delete but stick with that ember blue and maybe look at some other color trims to go along with. Researching the benefits of the Tremec tranny now!
Great video Joe!!! I am going to buy the Dark Horse. I also plan to order it with the Blue Ember paint. Haven’t decided if I will order the Recaro seats. At the reveal of the 7th generation Mustang Ford people said that now the Recaro seats will have heated/cooled capability. I didn’t know that they were manual controls until you briefed it. This could be a good thing however verses power seats. I am concerned about the cost of the stripes that are painted. Didn’t the paint stripes on the GT 500 cost an excessive price? I hope that is not the case here on the Dark Horse. I want to get the 6 speed but my wife wants the automatic. I already have 2 manual shift cars. So I may have to cave and get the 10 spd auto.

I love this channel and I have a suggestion for you guys. When you’re editing the video you should separate the audio from the video so when you cut to a different clip it won’t cut your audio off with the transition.

You’re a great salesman, so much enthusiasm and passion for the car you’re selling. (Especially the Mustangs). I’d like to hear how you really feel after you drive one. Comparing it to the GT350 and Mach1? My concern is it’s simply a track toy and not good for the street. The tires say it all. You noted they’re even more track focused than the Cup2’s.
I love a TON on the new GT and DH. I just wish the dash looked more streamlined. For example, could the screens have been made to be incorporated into the dash better rather than looking like iPads sticking out? Again, I love a LOT about this G7 gen, but l am hoping that they clean it up juuuuuust a bit more.

I’d say the first 2 years you’d have to pay around 80-100k c8 Zo6 are going for $300000k In Illinois and they msrp around 100k so that’s 3x the price so this is 60k it could go for $180000k

car looks amazing so far! only wish the dash didn’t have 2 big tablets. i was hoping they’d stick to a more classic dash because these screens won’t really age well. also, the temperature control is digital which is another zonk for me. overall, it’s looking like an good option for a muscle car for this generation!
The 2 big tablets were what was actually drawing me to the interior lol .
Those tablets will cost $1ks to replace, it makes the Camaro dashboard look good.

@@cmcb7230 The Camaro is Dead. While the new S650 is a bad ass aggressive Mustang. The boxy Camaro has ended production twice before. Soon that number will become three. If the Camaro even looked close to as good as the new S650 Mustang. Maybe it wouldn't be planned to return as an EV 4 door sedan or an SUV and in 2021 sell more than an embarrassing 21,883 units.

Exactly. You know what's funny about the ford mustang Mach e. Apparently the dc fast chargers that you have to use has been having so much problems btw. Also I rather stand at a pump for 10 minutes instead of waiting for 30 minutes to a hour to charge my car.

Interior looking sickkk in this one ..even though I'd probably get non recarros
I still love my 2019 Bullitt. Dark Horse is apparently only 20 more HP. It’s not worth the upgrade for me. Plus, I still like the Bullitt rarity such as it is. My Bullitt is a terrific daily commuter. Spendy on gas, but gets me across Phoenix swiftly on a daily basis.

I like the blue ember however the grill is a mixed bag for me.

Your not forced to order the Carbon fiber wheels. I like the regular Dark Horse rims, so I'll be skipping the Carbon wheel option box.
