The all new 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is the current highest performance iteration of the 7th generation S650 Mustang! The pinnacle of the Coyote 5.0L V8, making 500 horsepower fully naturally aspirated paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, this car is the next step up from the Mach 1. Some of the very cool highlights include carbon fiber wheels, an anodized titanium shift knob and an electronic drift brake! We had the awesome opportunity to get up close with the all new Dark Horse with Jim Owens from Ford and walk around the car and see some awesome details!!

The Dark Horse and GT Performance are badass seeing them in person. The interior is finally modern and takes the Mustang in a high tech design.

@@nerychristian Considering the 2021 Mach 1 has 480 horsepower. My first thought until its tested on a dyno is the Dark Horse horsepower rating may be underrated due to cafe regulations. If it's 500 horsepower it should likely run mid to low 11s in the quarter mile considering a 2021 Mach 1 runs 12.2. I am also looking forward to seeing the performance numbers. Including track comparisons.

Excited to see it in person and then on the road. I didn't care much for them at first but it's getting better...slowly. In pics and video I see a lot of 6th gen Camaro and S550. Hopefully the chassis and handling can match the 2016 Camaro. If it still falls short, the Alpha, LT1 and tr6060 will most likely be my choice

My Girlfriend Llinda worked in Labor Relations and Helped me
with my last Mustang.
When The Dearborn Glass Plant
was closed, I was Blessed to be
Transferred to The Dearborn Engine and Fuel Tank Plant.
As a Hard Hat employee I was chosen to Work with Engineers
Building the Assembly Line for
Mustangs Worldwide.
I Retired on January 1ST, 2007
and I'm enjoying the Good Life
being Paid for not Working is almost better than Sex with Single Adult Ladies because I'm a Bachelor without Children.

1995 was a Great Year for me.
Decisions- Love my 2018 GT Premium, - The Dark Horse is certainly special - When, and if, I move on to the S650 my brain will say GT Premium - My heart will say Dark Hourse🤔 Of course Ford will probably make my decision for me - I doubt that the Dark Horse will be easily obtainable, at least in the short term. Meanwhile, I’m driving a car that is truly special.

Lots of people hate this car, but I absolutely love it. Also the fact that the Camaro AND Chargers / Challengers are gone makes this car so much more significant. Going to get a GT500 or one of these for sure. Great video on it Eddie, cheers!

I'm definitely interested, however I heard that Ford is making the computer in such a way that aftermarket tuners may not be able to do much with it. If that is true, I will stick with my mach 1.

@@lyndafreier4090 I own a 1964.5 and love it to death, but there’s some ways it simply can’t compare to a brand new car. Safety, comfort, fuel efficiency, and equipment are just a few things that you don’t really get with a classic car. The 64 will always have more wow factor, but the new ones are a better ride overall

3.8 is fairly quick for a front engine, gas powered, rear wheel drive car. To go much quicker you’ve got to significantly up the power, reduce weight, move to AWD, and/or move the engine behind the driver.
@@aggiewoodie i totally agree , at the same time I don’t want other muscle cars like Camaro or a dodge beating my mustang. Even if it has to be awd I am fine, just provide a option to switch to rwd when needed.

Honda accord from the front and camaro from the side. What kills it for me personally is the two tablets mounted to the dash, that has zero muscle car appeal at all.

I want 1 gauge cluster screen, 1 infotainment screen, and I want all important controls, basically anything you would need to do while driving, be a physical button/switch/nob.
Don’t like the color fool you, the lighting in the background enhances the color of the car. In other words, the color doesn’t look that good in the real light.

That is one beautiful Camaro..! Like the Tesla dash too..! Next time, design something that looks remotely like a Mustang inside and outside. I've owned almost ever gen Mustang and won't be buying this thing.
This is the first Mustang I've not liked since the they came out with the new body style in 05. The interior is uninspired too

I feel like it's lost some personality. The screens look pasted on. I love the tail lights but the front end isn't doing it for me either. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see them on the road

If this car like a v8 version will cost 35k like previous gen. It will be a great buy for the money. But if it 50k then dodge or a chevy is better.

What percentage of owners will drift? Why we can't have a good American car which looks nice but not digitalized? Porsche is still using analogue speedometer and it looks much better than this stupid big screens. Old American cars were just straight line toys, but now that muscle cars are getting better in handling, why they are adding all this stupid technologies. I am sure car enthusiasts prefer a pure driving experience than all this technologies adding to cars. Look what they did with C8 corvette dash. They think it looks exotic. No, it is trying to look exotic. I think for poor people, the only car that is left is a used Porsche Cayman S for 30K. I was thinking to buy a Mustang GT but everyone is complaining about gearbox. Then a GT350 sounds good but engine is not reliable. A Camaro has better chassis and steering but you can't see front of your car. What the fuck is wrong with American cars? Can't you make a manual car with good gearbox and great engine and nice interior? How do you make fighter jets? Who needs an electric hand brake for drift? Why not just a normal hand brake? Titanium shift knob? Yeah that was the only issue with Mustangs. Another thing just to increase the price. American manufacturers don't give a fuck about customers. They don't have to. At the end of the day, they will sell all their cars. Carbon fiber wheel but with 5 nuts. Isn't it stupid? If one has enough money and no brain to spend for a carbon fiber wheel on a Mustang, why not a central lock? I wish they could make an 8 or 6 Cylinder version of Toyota 86. That is all we need.
