Im here to tell you guys that NC worked! It took 32 days for my ex to reach out for some trivial catch up and he told me how he was feeling hurt and alone and how he felt he lost best friend. We had a very good talk and even tho we are now taking things slowly NC DID WORK! Believe in it. Dont believe what you think your ex thinks. It maybe very misleading. I was sure he is having a good time and forgot about me. Have faith! Have patience! Stay on track!

I don’t think there is much hope for me as my ex only messaged me sporadically once or twice every week and we meet up once every two weeks but it doesn’t seem to going anywhere and this has been going on for two months 😞

@@fernandocabanillas8133 get to the root of the problem for which makes you dislike your emotions about yourself, start from there and then maybe others will reveal from within and whatever comes up that is what you start to work on. If it something that triggered from your youth like mom or dad siblings etc.

@@islandvctr something happened. We met - my ex kissed me and tried to take me to the bedroom. I've refused because when I asked what was happening the answer was: "Let's do a revival". This was exactly 2 weeks ago. I refused and said that I am non the "revival" type of person and left. Got a text while driving home: " I am sorry - I shouldn't had..." The week after (a week ago) I was offered to have breakfast together and I was so happy about that. We never had breakfast together. Since last week no more messages. I am incredibly strong - I truly was dying to make love with my other half but resisted. I need an apology, I want to know If I'm loved or not. I stopped giving myself away for free ages ago... but the last 2 days has been incredibly hard.

Three month update : i regret not doing No Contact longer and i regret somewhat letting him back in my life too soon. I didnt wait until he is back back, we just in limbo without any explanation and now it feels too late to ask " what are we ". Half of the feelings are definitely gone after all this time . We talk, we still somewhat close , we fight and we reconcile, but its no where near same. I am torn between " be patient , show him love, be his peace " and simple " let go " . My advice for all heartbroken souls would be to be patient. It only an illusion that you want him/her back. When they are back it will be a whole new can of worms to deal with and its hard hard hard . Do not rush, do not push. More time in NC - the better.

Let go. Don't hang on to something that you don't know "what are we?". You should not ever be in limbo. The other person knows damn well what they are doing. Stringing you along. Being too kind is not the way to go.

It doesn’t matter if NC “works” because it’s your best option regardless of the outcome. Do it for yourself. If they want to try again, cool. If they don’t, cool.
It really is. A lot of these relationships people talk about on here sound like they're with personality disordered individuals. There's no winning with these types, and they'll push and pull you until you're emotionally neutered if you let them, then pretend to care and want you back just to do it again. Zero contact is the only way.

The problem I have with these videos, not just coach Lee's, is that there's a lot of overthinking that can happen here. For me, it was getting to the point of indifference. You truly have to not care about the outcome. I heard back from my ex after 520+ days. That was the second time I went into no contact. The first latest somewhere around 130 days I think. The point is, it's been so long that I don't care anymore about the "test". I let her message first 90% of the time. I'll keep it friendly but simple small talk. Hell, I just invited her to a concert. No different than I would've done with one of my friends. For me I'm keeping it slow in the sense of talking but I'm also setting up in person interactions (every now and then). Again, I do this because it feels natural. I'm so over the past and I don't care anymore. I've had so much time being alone and focusing on me that I'm really indifferent on the outcome. If my ex and I are able to rebuild from the ground up, cool. If not, then nothing has changed for me and all that happened was I exchanged a few text messages.

Coach Lee -- you're awesome, and you have helped me so much since my breakup. Your videos and your kit are invaluable, and I encourage everyone who reads this to explore as many of Coach's vids as possible.
That being said, I also encourage anyone who reads this to explore the different attachment styles. I recently did so, and for the first time since my breakup (7 weeks ago), I feel like I can finally let go and move on.
My ex is a dismissive attachment style (the description matched her perfectly)... I think a lot of the time we (as dumpees) dwell on what we could have done differently, and we look back and say, "I wish I did x instead of y"... Looking at her attachment style, I now realize that there was nothing I could have done differently. For the first time in 7 weeks, I no longer feel regret, because I know this wasn't my doing. Some people just aren't matches... I can say with confidence that I will never enter into a relationship with another dismissive attachment style again. Their push and pull style, as well as their inability to open up just isn't the right fit for me.

Two weeks later the home I was supposed to move in with him was for sale and sold the next week. He know lives with her. She is everything he supposedly does not like. I have not seen him since Aug of 2020.

For those looking for positive hope, read this! Back in November 2020 my ex acted quiet and shut down for a few days. We had recently gotten engaged a few months prior. I finally asked her what was wrong and she broke down with everything. She had felt hurt and had "checked out" because we had been fighting a lot the last year, we were together for 2.5 years total at that point, she also was hurt by things I said at times. She was abused physically and emotionally by her parents as a kid so it affects her harshly to be abused emotionally. And there were an occasional argument where I'd say hurtful things, I'd ask her why she was bein such a bitch or asked her why she's even with me if she's always bickering about what I do, cuz from my view it seemed like she was always complaining but I finally saw it from her view that she just wanted me to be better and was trying to help me, especially since my words and our fights were hurting her. I was too prideful to think I was doin anything wrong, so I took it personally and it felt she was always bitchin at me for little shit but I should have payed more attention to what she was saying. She even warned my dumbass over the last year on a few occasions, that she was hurt and she wouldn't stay with me if I kept saying hurtful things. When we got engaged things were a tad bit better but I think it contributed to her "trapped" feeling, cuz I really hadn't fixed the core issues I had and she felt I wasn't gonna change, so she prob felt I was gonna marry her and end up getting worse and then she'd be trapped. So she ended up asking for a "break" but she mentioned she clearly loved me but couldn't do it. She said "if u were anyone else I'd not even consider it. We didn't have much space livin together so later in November she moved down the street into a trailer for a short 6mo lease so we could be apart. The problem was that she kept hitting me up to see her. We saw each other every few days. I was too available and we were both still emotional for months. I changed my attitude during that time and worked on myself, but our problem was that we kept seeing each other during a "break" and at times I was distraught and she would see that something was bothering me, then she'd make me talk about it and it was always about wanting to actually start making progress on workin on things or bein upset cuz it had been a few months and she still didn't trust me in that sense. I didn't want to talk about it but she could read my demeanor and see it bothered me and made me talk. Doin that during a time where we were both still emotionally sensitive was not goin well cuz it didn't allow her feeling of bein trapped to go away, it just made her feel more pressured. She also couldn't trust my changes so it was just a mess. At end of January I had 1 last talk with her and left her house, I intended to go into no contact cuz I told her if we were not gonna make progress then I needed to back away. She hmu a few times over the next week but I was short on response. Doin that made her overthink about things for a week or two, and at the beginning of February she called me to tell me that she doesn't think regaining trust in me was possible and that we should prob have space apart, actual space, and also end the "break" cuz we could never get back together anyways if we never really ended the relationship and continued to see each other during a "break" and actually had a while apart. She said "I don't want to dangle a carrot in front of ur face and get ur hopes up, and I'm tryin to be over it" and that really hurt but I agreed without bein a lil bitch and we started having space, aka no contact. She really didn't believe I could stay away lol That started Feb 4th. On the 9th she called me twice back to back cuz I didn't answer the first call, she told me my family hit her up as well as my baby momma. I thought it was weird for her to urgently call me to tell me that, and I guess my baby momma didn't know what was going on with my ex fiance so she had her number and called about something unrelated. The very next day, the 10th of Feb after only 6 days of no contact I got a heart dropping text, it was the first time it felt like I was never gonna have another shot. My bitter baby momma jumped into my business and had sent her screen shots of several year old messages of me supposedly cussin at my baby momma from back when I was with her, and my ex fiance saw it as emotional abuse. The problem was that I had told my ex fiance that before her I had never emotionally abused anyone before, to be fair I never realized what I had done was emotional abuse until my ex fiance told me when this all started months ago. So I hadn't intentionally lied to her about not bein emotionally abusive before, but she already didn't trust me and so this made her feel I lied intentionally. It was a mess, she said "I found out u lied to me again and I'm done. I can't believe anything about you. You need to just move on and find someone else, I wish you the best but I'm definitely not it" and I talked to her that day to try to explain that I didn't intentionally lie to her and that if I cussed at my baby momma years ago it was not only forgotten but until recently I didn't even know that was emotionally abuse. After that I hadn't heard from her for weeks. She texted last week Monday, March 8th, after 32 days of no contact she asked if I recieved a package of hers that she accidently sent to my address instead of her new house. I didn't answer quick enough and 5 min later she called to ask. Idk if she sent it here on purpose, but I told her she could come check cuz I wasn't home. At this point it had been 3 or 4 weeks since that incident and now she was totally bein nice, patient and almost sounded sad. She was prob surprised that I didn't bring anything up on the phone. I was polite and then got off the phone. Fast forward to 2 nights ago, 1 week later. I decided it had been 40 days of no contact and I was at a place where I've accepted things with her but still missed her. I decided to reach out cuz I had a strong feeling she still missed me and had feelings for me but was forcing herself to stay silent, her pride grew a lot since the breakup. I also was accepting of whatever response I might recieve. I texted her, "Hey, hope all is well with u and the kids. I'm doin just dandy like a dandelion. Hit me back sometime if u want." I kept it short and didn't ask any questions, I gave her the option to reach out to me. I also didn't text her any bullshit "memory reminder" text message lol And 45 min later my phone rang and it was her! I picked up and she was like, "your not supposed to do this" and she said it in a not serious flirty way. At first I didn't hear her and said, "what was that", she quickly said, "nothing!" with a flirty chuckle. Then she said it again where I could hear. We talked for 45 min before she asked if I wanted to come over. I sounded hesitant but was like, "ok I'll come by for few". We hung out and talked, watched videos with her on her phone, had fun and laughed. Layed on her bed beside her just chillin until 1130pm. I decided to head out after 2 hours and as she was about to lock the door behind me she pinched my nipple and ran away like a lil kid lol I gave her a lil titty poke back, said goodbye then left. We had fun. So basically I had a strong feeling that it would work out to break no contact, esp since she had called the week prior and her attitude and demeanor was much better, and it worked but I wouldn't recommend it, but I just had a very strong feeling based on the phone call a week prior and just had that vibe that I needed to reach out after a week or so. She may have contacted me later at some point, but idk if she would have had the balls to ask me to hangout or actually act like that so I had to give her a light push. I'm sure I just re-planted a seed and now I need to water it slowly over time. Wish me luck! And keep ur head up yall! Sometimes it's ok to break no contact after so long, esp if you're much more emotionally stable and if you've already been contacted and were able to get a vibe for how your ex might be feeling. It's not over yet, but I know what to do and I'm in a much more stable mind to do it without big mistakes.

@@hayday9224 lol I hadn't talked to her since Tuesday night and she literally just called me 10 min ago. I wasn't gonna contact her too much and figured I may have to make the contact a bit at first, but she just called. She's gonna call back again, she just had a work call she had to take.

She mentioned she still bein on process of healin, she is still hurt, but our time apart helped her not be so bitter towards me and now it's much more fun to be around her. She is much more silly and feels more comfortable bein her weird self around me, I'm weird and goofy too so that's prob why we always connected so well, cuz we match very well. She showed me this tictok about not bein able to be with anyone else cuz she would forever be comparing them to me, or something like that. My situation is a little different. The girl I was talking to was not necessarily an ex however we talked everyday and hit it off, had a great connection etc. We were building towards a relationship and was very close to one. However she broke it off, saying how stressful it was for her to balance school and work towards a relationship as we built a great connection & mentioned how she was broken. It didn’t make sense. However my intuition and my strong belief tells me one day soon she will reach out to me and this is not the end. These videos confirming this and giving me strength. We all have to stay strong.

No, Coach Lee it's not coming from a place of arrogance when you supported them through a tough time for quite a while, they didnt appreciate it therefore I ended it with them. It's coming from a place of hurt and protecting yourself. Going into no contact even though I ended it was for my own sanity and hope they realize they lost the only person who genuinely cared about them and fighting to keep you in their life. When it's always about them and they cant even ask you how your doing shows they dont give a f*** about you it hurts and is devastating.

I am okay with Coach Lee and the 3 others that I listen to right now. Their videos have been helpful to me in my now 3 year journey with my Avoidant Attachment Style Boyfriend who goes cold out of the blue for days, weeks and months at a time...2 years WOULD be 4 without this lol. But he is crazy, not loony toon but in the way where he sometimes acts and makes decisions without facts or based on emotions (and men do need space sometimes, and of course when someone does that no matter what you don't feel good about it, only after a while, but that inbetween time is crucial). I know him well enough to know in that time he is doing the same things he did with me just without me being a part of that. Like, only reason I haven't left and ended the cycle is that I truly love him and I am not one to sleep around until "I find someone perfect", there is no one perfect, just imperfect people trying to make a perfect way (meaning, it is either going to work out or not, and until it absolutely doesn't, it's not like I am loose so it's fine if it takes this long to be close, because it is not like I want anyone else anyway). What he does and how he handles himself in certain instances alarm me, and I know It's wrong TO me. But each time he does this (about 7 times in 4 years...some a few days, some a few weeks and a couple that lasted a month or more), and I do give push back because I don't want it, but then after crying and texting haha, I go no contact. I leave him alone after that and do my own thing, still hits me then I turn to the coaches videos and it does help. God bless. Then, it seems at the moment I am not worried or sad or anxious or anything, when I am in relief he is thinking about me and misses me enough to call...I think they do see a break in the energy, they feel the let go and they obviously see you NOT trying, not reacting how they expect....like always when I finally feel "free" he texts or calls with the "Hello" or "Hey, I was just thinking of you"...etc...sounds predictable, well, that is because Coach Lee and the other 3 coaches I watch have in their own way and I love hearing it from different perspectives (that is needed too). So I won't need that coach, I am sure he or she is good. But heck, the videos Coach Lee has been releasing the past couple weeks alone have helped me big time. Thank you for offering.

My ex and I have been together for 12 years, I made it one week of NC and due to the length of our relationship we have financial obligations to work out, I contacted him. He told me, he was glad NC was working for me, lol I went right back to NC. It felt very empowering! I am still devastated, but I am proud of myself for the fact that I didn't respond back with anything other than what I needed to say. I am making progress. Thanks Coach Lee!

@@lisat5666 I dont veiw it that way, not sure how he views it. NC is a good tool for moving forward as well, not just to get someone back. Getting him back is not guaranteed, so i dont view that as my emd goal. My goal os to recover from the breakup lol

I am the 1 who DUMPED & so proud of myself. Never thought I'd have the guts or confidence to do it but Prayer gave me strength. I realized I didnt really know him; & so I was in love with the illusion of who I Thought he was (who I Wanted him to be). My feet not on the ground therefore it was NOT love but my own stories in my head & dreams of I invisioned him to be.
When truth woke me up, lies exposed & feeling used, I was hurt, then angry. Then calmness, common sense, & self respect kicked in. PRAYERS gave strength to get it DONE & 🚫 block him. Nope... glad to never hear from him.
Miss him like I miss a pebble in my shoe.

Hey Lee, could you do a video on advice regarding on and off relationships? It's hard to know whether no contact is effective because these kind of relationships can go for months without contact but then get back together before the cycle repeats itself. Just wondering how to break this cycle or should I even try anymore
