    Great video! Appreciate the disclaimers and advice. Love you that referenced dermatologists and cautioned not to buy from MLMs. And great tip about the pink tax on minoxidil

      Thank you so much, Lucy, for this video. You are the reason I started minoxidil. It was about last month. Therefore, there's not much I can say about the results. However, the shedding is so scary! It's more than I usually experience. Not fun at all. You mentioned Traction Alopecia, which seems to be my case. I'm dropping all tight hairstyles. I've been using my hair in a bun for so long, and I believe it's the main cause why my temples have thin hair with sparse areas. Too much trauma caused by repetitive tight hairstyles. Also, Seborrhoeic Dermatitis doesn't help. I may need to get myself a comfort hair cushion because I feel so self-conscious about my hair. Hope to see improvements in the next months. Fingers crossed!

      Hang in there. The hair cushion thing def works, plus I always told myself shedding means the minoxidil is working. My shed stopped quite fast, but I could see the effects of it for a while after still. It will get better.

    I add rosemary drops to my conditioner and let it sit for about 10 minutes then rinse. It has helped me tremendously. I noticed significant hair loss when I started using a shampoo bar. I've concluded, it's the sulfates. I stay away from any hair products containing them. Thank you for posting your journey. It's a scary thing to go through but hair is just hair. It doesn't define you. Character always wins! ♥️

      I bet the rosemary in conditioner trick would work well for people with dry hair / scalp. My scalp is oily so if I put conditioner on it, it makes the hair roots look greasy. But I’m so glad it’s working for you and it’s helping!
      I’d probably be more upset about my hair a few years ago. But, not to sound cheesy, having a kid with disabilities really makes you understand that not everything in life needs to be cried over. I’ll try to get the hair as good as it can be, but if not - I’ll shave it all and get a cool scalp tattoo 😂

      @@kbeautyhobbit I shaved my head for the first time when I was 37. It was very liberating and no fuss! It definitely helped me build inner confidence and forced me to look within, and to do the same with others.
