I am really enjoying your nail videos and learning lots! Thank you! For the past 9 months I had been doing dip powder nails, but they take ages to do, so I have been trying to transition to something easier and quicker.
Great video. Thank you. I started using DD Magic Press about a year ago, based on an IG post you did. I love them. I get a good two weeks wear, and even longer sometimes. I've played with another brand, but there was no comparison. I've also used the DD gel wraps that you cure with IR light with great success, but those take longer to apply, so the Magic Press is my go to. Thanks for your videos!💕💅🏼
I totally, 💯 agree with your rating. Seriously, Olive & June is painful to wear. My currently fav is DD Magic Press and when then start popping off (~3 days), I reapply with Cala Super Nail Glue. Cala is my current go to nail glue.
How do you get Magic Press to last as a Mom with kids? Asking as a Mom with a 3yo and a baby who cooks and cleans. 🤣 I love my SCG strips they last almost 3 weeks on me!
Magicpress never lasts on me as long as SCGs :) but here’s how I do them: Dashing Diva Magic Press tutorial - Fast, Easy Press On Nails | KBEAUTYHOBBIT th-cam.com/video/Hklp1sFTC0s/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your videos!! I would like to watch reviews of DD red line products and the Kiss Glue Off. I have tried your removal technique, but I would like to find something quicker. For some reason the feeling of the floss on my nails is unpleasant (for me) and I’m looking for a good solution to remove the Glaze and Ohora type nails, as well as press on nails with glue (I do add glue when I do press ons.)
If you like baths and tend to keep your stickers on for 1.5-2 weeks, you can gently break the seal at the cuticle line and then soak in the tub for a while relaxing. By the end of the bath it should be super easy to remove the stickers. For glue ons the best I have found so far is warm water with olive oil and just soak hands in it. Some people add dish soap but my hand eczema wouldn’t enjoy that so I skip it. I’ll look into Kiss Glue Off!
My favorite so far is Glametic but I haven’t tried DD magic press. Olive & June..ugh. Just tried them for the first time. My nails are pretty curved so that’s not an issue. They are just ugly. I’m sorry but they are. The shape, quality and sizing are terrible. Worst I’ve ever tried and I’ve been using fake nails for a long time off and on. Save your money and get something else, anything else.
Update on Olive & June..and it’s not good. I put them on Sunday night, yesterday (Tuesday) I noticed like a film peeling off of them. I’m just trying to get through the week at this point because I’m gone over 12 hours a day and don’t have time to redo them. I can’t speak to their other products but the nails are terrible. I have two more pairs I had bought and don’t even want to give them away because they’re so bad. 😩
@@kbeautyhobbit I can’t wait to see your thoughts on Glamnetic. Though I don’t remember a lot of short options. I have DD coming in the mail and can’t wait to try them! 😃🤞
@BeautyJunkieJeni I hope you can return the other two. I had this same film issue. The whole clear coating and the glitter all peeled off within days, then the actual plastic cracked!!!

I wanted to try dip powder, but after watching a couple TH-cam tutorials I don’t think I would have the time or patience for that
@@kbeautyhobbit yes it is definitely a huge time commitment, it would take me 2 hours to do them!
@OxanaCrafts wow! That’s a good chunk of time. Do they last a long time too to make it worth the commitment?
Excited for your new upcoming nail videos 🎉
Thank you for always being such a great support person!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh I am excited for this!!!!!!! I’ve been interested in looking more into these! Can’t wait!
Your enthusiasm is what keeps me going on days I don’t feel like filming haha. Thank you!!

I WISH I could get two weeks out of my magicpress. But usually in happy with the 7-10 days and get bored anyways. So u guess it works out.

I’ve been trying to get the beauty secrets glue but all Sally’s are out ALL THE TIME!!!
@@kbeautyhobbitif you can get their glue it’s awesome. I actually used that when I started dipping my nails with a spray activator.

@@kbeautyhobbit Of course! But they do make some cuuuuute designs that aren't in SCG form.
Yeah the Olive and June ones were so weird!!! I only tried a few different brands a couple months ago and these stood out as impossible to fit
They are terrible and I don’t think the brand cares at all about customer feedback.

What happened to Nailog? Not fav anymore?
Nailog is a sticker not a press on. This video is only about press on nails.
10x :) @@kbeautyhobbit I'm a total beginner - last night was my first try-watching your tutorial and doing my ohora nails :)
@rumikazakova3847 how did it go?
