Hi... I have a F25 2.0d have three error codes which I saw is called a "trifector" is the F25 actuator the same as a E83... Please advise me.

Hi George, good video, thanks, can this sensor cause an 4x4 error?! Because on my e60 525xi 2005 N52, after replacing the front brakes, javr abs, dsc, 4x4 and TPM error, and i think it can be only this sensor.. Or maybe rust in connector..
Same here.
The cruise control turned off when passing over a bridge-joint, and the FTM-foult lit up together with a "4x4" under the yellow symbol in the middle. (E91 330xd from 2009).
So my question is also: Why can this effect the xdrive when going in speed. It might interfere with the traction control, but no issue on dry tarmac in 120 km/h...
Thank you very usefull video. I am getting same error in my bmw 320 d 2009 model. Can tell me how many sensor will be there in front wheel and back wheel. Front 1 in right and 1 in left and in back 1 in right and i sensor in left am i correct? So totally 4.. and how do I find out which sensor have failed ?

Quick question mate. I’ve got a bmw f30 2014 model, the ABS light came on and the diagnostic machine pointed out a front left sensor fault so after changing that the diagnostic machine read out another problem this time saying its the rear left sensor however if i unplug the front left sensor it goes back to saying its a front left sensor!
Also mate the error codes are reading permanent so they cant be removed!

I have collected my E70 from BMW as it had fhe airbags recall sorted. On the way back, i had a warning message on the screen saying engine oil level is too high, so I thought its a coincidence. However I got another three fault messages on the screen and the dash, Flat Tyre Monitor/ ABS/ Parking Brake inoperative. I wonder if its still a coincidence or they broke something. If they replaced the airbags only, they shouldn't mess with the wheels and those sensors I guess. They told me they can take it back for an inspection, but because it's three different faults, there will be three inspections and if they can't blame their technician, i will have to pay £198x3 :O
Hi George, in January I had an MOT and I was told some joints and arms needed replacing, had that done and my steering was still very stiff with a knocking. Eventually my usual garage indicated that actually it was the steering rack, this was replaced and the steering is a lot lighter and must have been an issue for a while. However, since then, I have had two errors - 1. "Driving Stabalisation" which takes off the traction (bloody ridiculous in my opinion) and the first stage error is "Increased Steering Effort" - this I do not understand because the steering itself in terms of the wheel and motion are very smooth (especially compared to what it was before) - once that ISE error comes, if I drive for say 30 seconds, the Driving Stabilisation error then comes on, traction goes off and I may as well be driving on ice..... Module was recoded to try and help, still issues - any ideas what this might be? Could it be related to your situation in this video? I have not had my m135i for over two months now, still waiting on investigation! Only error that came up on scanner was 480AB8 (Not a bmw scanner) this error relates to "Unknown" which is possibly the most pointless error coded known to humanity - any advice or thoughts would be massively appreciated!!

Hello friends, bmw 320d 2014 having Ftm system error along with that Ac is not working and steering is hard, some times it works and sometimes again error but now its permanent, is that because of abs sesnor?

hello pls help me I've been having this problem for 2 months I have replaced 2 tires but not the same tread pattern so I read the car the left abs sensor has to be replaced but nothing has helped so I thought there must be 2 the same tires on it so I have replaced it but Still no help what could it be bmw x6 e71 or do i need to delete the error codes. Pls help

You check the tyre pressures with a gauge
Did the low fuel light come on with the abs problem or did you just have low fuel?

This happens to my 335d, but it goes on and off when it chooses, I’ll be driving everything be fine and then all of a sudden the ABS and the FTM come on I’ll drive for a few miles then it will go off and so on? Any ideas. Thanks

HELP!!!!! MY 2011 BMW 528i shows the abs light on my dash, the chasis stability message popped on my screen but my wheels are locked i could move the car a couple of inches and then the wheels lock again and i know for a fact is not the transmission because I can put the car in gear and it's drivable and then the wheels lock and i have a red brake light on the right side of my dashboard and it's not the hand brake that comes up on the middle of the dashboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@robertmares8253 I would say ABS sensor or ABS rings. You need to scan your car with ISTA

Hi. I have a 2014 bmw 435i with ftm(not tpms). After replacing the left front tyre the system refuses to reset. The idrive reset button is greyed out and the cluster still shows low pressure warning in that tyre with the ftm light on. No other issues. No traction control issue no abs issues. Only ftm failure to reset. A guy tried diagnostics for me and want to change out the abs sensor in order to fix. However important note is that the other tyre is almost on it's way out. Could the difference is tyre thread cause this problem ? Please help
Earlier models all work through the ABS sensor but your model has an actual FTM sensor so may be that which is faulty

Hard Steering from me came from a steering rack issue !! Which BMW Know about as well! And do actually have a hidden recall situation about it too. These companies are a joke and actually put peoples lives at risk
