Hi there, Thank for good video. Is it possible to operate ABS module with only one speed sensor? Actually, I am a student and want to present the ABS operation with single tire and break assembly using single speed sensor.
A lot of times a bad wheel bearing screws up the gap where the speed sensor is and gives inaccurate readings. When I see an ABS light on, it more like a "check the wheel bearings light", it doesn't take much to mess with them.
The older external designs can be worse than useless. It is ridiculous to have an abs ring and sensor mounted externally where it is totally exposed to dirt and debris. Some of these old type sensors have a strong magnetic field so all it takes is a few tiny specs of flakey rust to knock out the entire ABS system. Why did the government allow manufacturers to make such a useless ABS system which cannot operate under ordinary road conditions?
Watched a dozen videos today trying to understand inductive and hall effect sensors, and this is the one that made it all click into place! 👍
Thank you for the education ! Am just amazed as to how complexity creeped into such a simple system in the beginning.
Excellent explanation, if you need more don't hesitate
Waoo this is awesome, I've been looking for this information for a long time now, thanks @kansow vehicle Engineering. This is great
Very well presented. It covers all structural and operational process's.
Good video .
I never had abs on any of my vehicles .
Now my new truck has abs .
40k miles and it already is broket .
This stuff was created just to make you spend more and for programmed obsolescence
Hi, can I record and use your videos with my voice overlay? Thanks.
Excellent explanation 👍
Great video, gave me exactly what i needed and more
Excellent video

You can't control anything you don't/can't measure. ABS needs to know the speed of all four wheels in order to function properly.
you would probably have to modify the computer software to only work for one tyre, seems like a lot of hassel for what ur trying to do
Yes! I discovered that my car has been using left speed sensor only, it was confirmed by the scanner tool
a complete course thanks
Great videos.
If your speed sensor is not working what might be the issue?

Thank you TH-cam algorithm!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Do you have espanish video?
Alguien lo podría traducir en subtítulo en Español gracias, para saber bien sobre el sistema de ABS en estos rotores de freno.
Very educative
Well explained thanks.
Tone ring for hdj81
u change from one screen to the next before anyone has a chance to see it in its entirely
youre welcome
and thanks
thanks
Any address or whatsApp I can reach to get more info?

Trial and error as most things in life.
