Misinformation. Syria is the sixth most food-insecure country in the world. 16.7 million Syrians depend on humanitarian assistance to survive. Nearly 6 million Syrians cannot get enough food and are surviving off of World Food Programme (WFP) handouts. WFP estimates that 16.7 million Syrians - over half the Syrian population - are in the grip of hunger today. It is clearly misinformation to show all the food, suggesting Syrians are OK, when WFP says Syrians are starving. Remove this video.

Yes it's so we can profit off of Syria they have oil but don't have much equipment to get it and they can't trade with anyone with all of the mandatory sanctions us has put 😂
its sad to tell you that war leaders whom lead the world tell you that our people are beasts and deserve to die by war that USA has created , or died hungry as it happens now for us, but the reality that all of us brothers we are all human, all children are angels and they don't deserve this fate

As a Syrian ! what you saw in this video, is the HALF of truth ! Don't be fooled by the promotional video, if you try the watch the similar video from other youtubers you will notice that: 1- at most the Accompanying person is a same guy : Rami (work in Military intelligence) 2- the same story ... Food + christian places it's just the show for western world all the youtubers need permission to enter and record videos, and every place he want to go, he need permission : I know what I'm talking about ! : the first youtuber came to syria before few years, they invite him and paid him ! and his video became a trendy, and the First Lady liked it. then a lot of other youtuber try to do the same because it easy mixture for more views ... mix of Risky things, show opposite direction of the mainstream of media, and cheap cost !! so why not ! : What are these videos hiding? there more 400 thousand killed in prison . more than 7 million as refugees most the cities is destroyed and now syria has many military bases from all the world. : the decision controlled by Iran and Russia (and they fight each other in some areas) . a lot of syrian live below poverty line and a lot rely on monthly payments from their relvents lives in western world as refugees. : and a lot of UN support will be stolen every day from "Assad regime" and they resell it again to the people .

How does your restaurant obtain the food to provide all the tasty Syrian dishes? Explain who your suppliers are because Syria is the sixth most food-insecure country in the world. 16.7 million Syrians depend on humanitarian assistance to survive. None of them are coming to your restaurant. Nearly 6 million Syrians cannot get enough food and are surviving off of World Food Programme (WFP) handouts. WFP estimates that 16.7 million Syrians - over half the Syrian population - are in the grip of hunger today. It is clearly misinformation to suggest Syrians are OK, and not starving when WFP says Syrians are starving. They are feeding over 5 million Syrians and the country received over a billion in foreign aid, just to survive each year, whilst your evil Dictator Assad continues to fight a 14 + year long civil war and has jailed 46,000 people without charge, 90% of them are women and children. So excuse me for accusing this video of misinformation, if you really do manage a restaurant in Syria, whilst Syrians are starving you should be ashamed of yourself. The World Food Programme would like to know how you are obtaining your supplies to make all the tasty food Mark shows. Will you provide a better price to feed 16 million Syrians 3 meals a day? Thank you for your sympathy, but unfortunately most of the people live in extreme poverty, and they have to work day for day to get their food for one day. Do not think that what is being portrayed is the truth and the normal, comfortable life of the people. Rather, the truth is that they are very poor and live with difficulty because of the bad state system and the unjust, murderous dictatorship.

As a Syrian !
what you saw in this video, is the HALF of truth !
Don't be fooled by the promotional video, if you try the watch the similar video from other youtubers
you will notice that:
1- at most the Accompanying person is a same guy : Rami (work in Military intelligence)
2- the same story ... Food + christian places
it's just the show for western world
all the youtubers need permission to enter and record videos, and every place he want to go, he need permission
:
I know what I'm talking about !
:
the first youtuber came to syria before few years, they invite him and paid him ! and his video became a trendy, and the First Lady liked it.
then a lot of other youtuber try to do the same because it easy mixture for more views ... mix of Risky things, show opposite direction of the mainstream of media, and cheap cost !!
so why not !
:
What are these videos hiding? there more 400 thousand killed in prison . more than 7 million as refugees most the cities is destroyed and now syria has many military bases from all the world.
:
the decision controlled by Iran and Russia (and they fight each other in some areas)
.
a lot of syrian live below poverty line and a lot rely on monthly payments from their relvents lives in western world as refugees.
:
and a lot of UN support will be stolen every day from "Assad regime" and they resell it again to the people

How does your restaurant obtain the food to provide all the tasty Syrian dishes?
Explain who your suppliers are because
Syria is the sixth most food-insecure country in the world.
16.7 million Syrians depend on humanitarian assistance to survive.
Remove video.

Guys Syria looks cool but the actual people of Syria are complaining daily about the living situations and the poverty
Too fuc*in right.. more than any thing...
It’s cool for tourism not for daily actual life
Lebanon 🇱🇧 ❤ | Syria 🇸🇾 ❤
Lovely and Ancient countries with rich history ❤

Yes that's so true
Thanks man! This is great. I am not Syrian; I am Turkish, but I felt very sorry for Syria being destroyed after the war. Seeing Damascus doing well made me so happy. Your video is so nice because it shows that Syria can be remembered as an ordinary, nice country instead of just the civil war. I hope they can stand up again and live happily in Syria.
Thank you, my brother. I hope so, and I wish your country prosperity and further development
My brother it was turkeys intervention and continued occupation that has killed more than half a million people.
Thank you for your kind words about my country and we hope that all Turks become as kind as you 💝
@Yorumcu666 turkey is responsible for the war via it's meddling and proxies
I hope Syria will go really well, as a Turk from Germany, I always say Syrians are our brothers and sisters, what happens in Turkey, don't believe in it, it's all just a game from other countries, many greetings from Germany to Damascus❤❤🙏🙏🧿🧿

Rami is an excellent guide because he helps Mark out with describing the food. I love when local guides provide both historical knowledge and happen to be foodies, too.
Thank you Kim ❤
, are you the only tour guide in Syria?
@@raminawaya I think it's wonderful that Mark is doing this foray into Syria under your wing. I'm a Vietnamese refugee and we didn't have TH-cam to give refugees a taste of home in the 70s and 80s so it's really nice to see that you can provide that for your homeland and your people.
@@KimJayViet Kim, I appreciate your compassion and that you can relate to this ❤
