Yanjin is a special place and I kind of felt like I went back to my roots while telling this story. Back to 2017 when I first picked up a video camera. It’s probably not the most “viral” video I could have made on my China trip, but that’s okay. It is certainly a story that I enjoyed telling, and this city has left a lasting impact on me. And I hope it will for you too!! The nature, the society, the hospitality, the layout of the land - is all extremely unique! This is my 6th trip to mainland China, but my first time leaving the big cities. I’m wildly impressed by life out here. That dude is the reason why I travel. He represents everything about being a good ambassador when a foreigner comes to visit. He not only gave you an exclusive tour around his hometown, even going as far as taking you up high in the mountains, but actually invited you into his house. And to top it off, he's got a beautiful smile too! We should all strive to be like this individual.
Out of all of the places I've seen you go I think that this is one that I would love to visit. The community the smiles to take care of everything and it is so beautiful.

Thank you for this video. A wonderfull escape, from America's 🇺🇸 issues right now, who knew a hideaway in China 🇨🇳 would provide that. That city was so clean, no trash, no dogs :), which means no pee and dog poo everywhere spreading deases and parisites to humans. At least from what you showed in your video, a very clean place. I absolutely love this place from what I see. Im Filipino American and the happiness here remind me of the Phillipines. They dont have much, dont need much but I'm sure the mental health is far better than it is in America.

What an amazing video! I immigrated from China to Canada with my parents when I was only 7, so I don’t know China very well. My parents are very anti CCP so their views have very much negatively shaped my perception of China. But videos like this make me want to rediscover the country from whence I come, but no longer recognize.
No matter what people always talk bad about China, China people are just another level, Very Humble, Friendly, kind and their food it is always fresh and tasty ❤ Chinese people and their food ❤❤❤❤China❤❤❤❤
I’ve saw those coffins in documentary film before and fascinated how in ancient times and more modern times they managed to get them up the sides of the mountains. I like your channel as you are more about the culture and people rather than the history. I don’t know how no matter what country you go to you eat their food, I couldn’t stomach most of it but I know it’s healthier than a lot of other countries I won’t mention.

I went to Shanghai for a couple of months and even people in a city bigger than New York people were friendly. China is awesome. Not as nice as those people though.
