I LOVE watching Mark eat. When you have followed his adventures for as long of a time as I have, you start to realize the small differences in his voice as he talks about his meal. He is NEVER not nice about the food or the Cook or the restaurant, etc., but you get immediately about his enjoyment....or lack of....what he is eating. "Not too spicy" means it''s OK but not the flavor he enjoys. Talking about the texture or addition of more Olive Oil or Italian sauce means something he wasn't expecting or cared about. I LOVE listening to Mark cuz I know his taste buds are usually "right on the money" as they say. I am making plans this year and into 2025 to visit areas in Pakistan and India and China.....waiting and praying the Covid Crap has airlines and hotels, etc., to fully go back to business... And believe me...Mark has been downloaded in areas I wish to visit and to EAT what he EATS and WHERE he does...and how he does it! He has worked very hard to bring us incredible food and where to find it. Thank you, Mark!

I very much respect that Mark demonstrates authenticity and with the assistance of the country’s tourist officials and others including local people. However his style means I must limit the frequency of watching his videos. Albaik is pretty ordinary, broast isn't even a Saudi origin, what he is trying is mostly local/traditional food Albaik would be boring because everyone made videos about it, it seems the same

😍 Welcome to 🇸🇦KSA Mark!
Hope you're having a great time.
Great food choices, and if you're still in Riyadh then you gotta try out the shawarma at "Mama Nora" 'cause it's EPIC!
Also a great mix of tasty Saudi cuisine & old cultural atmosphere can be found at "Najd Village".
And I think you'll find the best Haneedh ever at "Abu Khayal" restaurant in the city of Abha.
All the best man! ❤️
The Haneedh is not Saudi Food - come on man
It is from South Yemen
Also Mandi and Madhbi are all South Yemeni food.
The only Saudi food is Kabsa
😅 I never said they were Saudi...although I believe many would argue otherwise.
Also there are many Saudi foods: mufattah, kabsa, matazeez, jareesh, saleeg, margoog, gursan, mathloothah, kulaijah, magshoosh, hunainy, marasee'a, harees, sayyadiyah, goozi,..., etc. & you should try'em 👍🏻...

Love the cleanliness in preparation and serving of food.
I like how all the places that he went to are not known places just humble places
finally, Mark is Saudi Arabia we've been waiting for such a long time
I missed and I love Riyadh, I've been working there for 5 years. Riyadh is the place where I met my Nepali husband. God bless you and take care of you both with your wife 💓
Welcome to Saudi Arabia ❤🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦
Mark adapt their way of eating quickly, by hands. I love their lambs: the best! Hello, all the way from Canada.
Brings back childhood memories. Love arabian food.
No matter how bad my days going, I always end up with a smile after watching Mark Weins eat 😂
Me too
Finally Mark Wiens in my country Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦… you are welcome, I wish that I knew about your visit so I can show you more about the reality of Saudi food. If you have a chance to visit the north of Saudi like Sakaka you are invited to a delicious northern cuisine 💐

Thanks Mark for sharing another masterful episode. Gastronomy of Riyadh in A. Saudita. The versatility of meals and ways of cooking is impressive. The alternatives of its menu based fundamentally on camel and lamb meat are amazing.👍👏
Hi , I am Sri Lankan
I have spend like 6 years in Riyadh city and had such meals every single day... Now I see what I miss...ummmm.... thanks for bringing back old memories...

Superb Mark!!! I kept recollecting the authentic Saudi's recipe while Mark chewing brought my taste buds tingling... Haha 😀👌💕
Hii
Oh man their food is crazy yummy 😋 what a feast. ❤
I didn't think you could top your break of dawn Japanese fish market video but this is right up there. I love how enthusiastic you are to see new types of cooking all around the world for the same types of food. Thank you for going not only to high end restaurants but backyard places in every nook and cranny you can find.

Mark is here finally. Welcome to Saudi
I can't believe....Lamb and liver and all the rest of it.... Of course, I do like and understand Falafel...but WOW the different ways they prepare it! How fun and Tasty! You do eat stuff that you ALWAYS seem to adore. I rarely ever see you get a "sour look" on your face from what you may be eating....and you are always careful not to be nasty about an experience of a dish you are not liking. But mostly, you really love most foods you eat, so Congratulations on dishes you make us all want to try!
Saudi Arabian food looks so good! I love lambs and organs so much!!!
Is that you in the profile pic? 😅
@@nomad_333_ 😸😸😸
I love falafel! Its one of my favorite foods and good to see different kinds.
Thank u for visiting Riyadh. Your choice of restaurants is spot on but I do recommend to experience local foods by visiting locals because it is truly what represents Saudi food
while we (Arabs) consider it normal to throw a feast for a new friend, most people around the world would be too shy to ask for it, it's not normal in most cultures lol
The Haneedh, Madhbi and Mandi food are South Yemeni food not Saudi.
However, in that region we share each others food.
Just like Indian food is the same as Pakistani food or Bengali food.
The South Arabians and Saudis share common food.
All the food I saw were the same as what I eat at home including the chilie chutneys and Ashar
The real authentic Saudi food is Kabsa LOL

The Best Food Ever...I miss Riyadh.
Thank you...SIR MARK for sharing and travelling to one of my fave country.
حياك ببلدنا🇸🇦🇸🇦
this guy is blessed with heightened senses for taste buds. Nothing taste bad for him.
Thank you Mark! You inspire me too try all foods from around the world. As Andrew Zimmern says: If it looks good eat it!
I had to open a can of garbanzo beans, oil, lemon, cilantro and imagine I was with Mark eating all of that amazing food. lol.... I'm pregnant... my mouth is watering just watching
Mark, i worked in saudi arabia for 26 years… the food that u eat we called it MANDY LAHAM 😋😋😋😋 so delicious…

I very much respect that Mark demonstrates authenticity and with the assistance of the country’s tourist officials and others including local people. However his style means I must limit the frequency of watching his videos. I am a food and travel enthusiast preferring other channels which also provide similar depictions of communities and cultures.
