Jimny is one practical vehicle plus gives you an edge when mood is off and it calls to go off the road..... Being a previous Gypsy owner I opted for MT model..... For me... power steering, power window, Air conditioner, air bags, even doors and roof are luxury in every senses.....
Wouldn`t mind one as a toy, but in reality, a secondhand Fortuner 2,4 4x4 around the same price will have more space, cruise comfortably, have better off road capabilities and easily give you 600 000km`s of problem free motoring!
You do have a point there. It makes sense as a toy car that you can occasionally take for some off-roading. If you mean business and need real space with good offroad capabilities, looking at the fortuner in the used car segment would make sense.

2nd Fortuner is a better option no doubt....but driving it in cities makes it a bit tough....
